The best race in Starcraft 2???

I am going to be getting Starcraft 2 and I was wondering what a good beginner or what the best race is in Starcraft. I would also like reasons why they are the best.

As far as the best race, I think that varies from zone to zone. In the Americas region, the zerg are considered a little underpowered, in the Asian Region, they're demanding that the zerg get nerfed.

For starting out, you might want to consider the protoss. They're a little simpler to micro, as their units cost more and you have less of them to control.

All races are balanced, but for difficulty it would be judged by their playstyles.

Terran for instance require the most macro and micro by far,but in return offer the most creative play in the game because of their diverse set of units. While Zerg I guess would be second in terms of difficulty and creativity.

And I would say that Protoss is the simplest to play and maybe easiest, because just like the above poster said, you control less units and ironically despite them being an alien race, their units as a whole are not as complex as Terran or Zerg. But in truth,when it comes to facing a good player, all races require the same amount of effort.

Well if you only play single player like me then you have no choice so terran. I prefer Protoss myself.

They are all very well balanced. I am going to have to say Zerg though. But, that is just my opinion.

I like Protoss the most, but i usually play Random.

I prefer the Terran, but Protoss is fun too. I guess I never got into the Zerg that much.

Personal fav is the Protoss

Easiest to master though is probably the terrans from what i hear.
