The best two console combo of sixth gen in your opinion?

For me, since XBOX didn't fascinate me all that much in exclusives, I'm going to go with PS2 + GameCube as not only do they have more exclusives that fit my interests, but most multiplats do too and since PS2 has a whole lot of third party support (best in that gen), that's another reason.

For those who have/had all three consoles, what two consoles fit you most?

My choices as well, mostly because I like their controllers the best. Four good systems that gen though. We were spoiled!

I honestly can't answer this because I felt like each console brought something different to the table. I know that I love each for different reasons and would be very unhappy if one of them were left out :(

PS2 and Gamecube.

Had PS2 and Gamecube last gen. Was pretty happy.

Just like this gen (PS3 and Wii).....

PS2 and NGC was my console combo last gen.

Before that...... PSX and N64.

I played a lot of PS2 back in the day but I don't actually have one so I missed out on a lot of good games.

I got the original Xbox in 2008.

Unlucky me--I was thinking about getting a PS2, but I'm not sure what I need to look up since a lot of PS2 games were re-released as HD collections etc.

1.XBOX, amazing libary of games and amazing console

2.PS2, nice games but too much sports and some bore me, though good system

3.Gamecube, my childhood, got great games but ps2 better imo and great system

This is a tough choice, actually. All 3 consoles have their strengths. I own all 3 for that reason (and they're pretty cheap to get a hold of nowadays).

If I was forced to choose, I would choose PS2 and XBox, though.

PS2 because it has the largest and most varied library of games, and ironically the cheapest as well (most of the time). The games are also very easy to find since GameStop is still selling them, at dirt cheap prices to boot.

XBox because it has a lot of great action-RPGs, which is my favorite genre, as well as the best versions of multiplatform games that generation. And Morrowind and Halo 1 & 2 are must have games for me. 3 of my all-time favorites.

PS2 and GC... Just so many amazing exclusives.

ps2 and gamecube , i dont know the xbox just had many ps2 ports , if you did not like halo there was really no reason one would buy an xbox over a ps2 unless of course for split screen , in which case thats your choice i own all 4 plus gba from 2 gens ago

and own a psp ds 360 ps3 and wii this gen so ya
