[QUOTE="TheCrazed420"][QUOTE="oldsoulco"] [QUOTE="TheCrazed420"]Well, Manhunt deals with stuff in the real world, with things that can be very believable. The Darkness has you controlling demon minions and the like. I think it's pretty clear why one is regarded as more mature than the other.oldsoulco
I cant agree with that. since the Darkness is depicting a real world. not a fantacy world. if it was in a magical world like mario or link games, sure. But this is supposed to be set in our time.
if its just because of the sexual content, thats fracking stupid. would you rather have 10 year old massacreing people or jsut looking at some T.IT.S
How is controlling demons depicting a real world?!?
you obviously have never played with witchcraft. or know a Wiccan. or have heard of psychic tell anyone's future.
but that aside. the world of the darkness is set in our world. not a made up one. its just embellished. so if a game is in a fantasy world you should be able to do anything you want?
I'm saying all games are in the fantasy world and we should get to do anything we want in them. But Manhunt is much more of an interactive snuff film, whereas The Darkness is more of a standard shooter. I'm not condemning manhunt, I'm just in agreement that some of the stuff that was described to me in that game is simply disgusting and very much deserved an AO rating. I'm referring to the beheaded lady that you can "interact" with after you killed her. Umm..yeah, who gets off on that? The Darkness has nothing like that.
