If it is possible get it on PC, I say this because you get so much more for your money. Mods take the pathetic base game and make it into something amazing.

I own both console versions and the PS3 version is better with shorter load times, better framerate and slightly better textures. It was ported to the PS3 a year later so, that explains it. Make sure to get the Game of The Year version.

I just did a little research and Im seeing that the PS3 GOTY edition has a glitch where when you turn into a vampire you cant go back to your original state. Is this true ?

There really is no discernible difference. Both platforms have the GOTY Editions that contain the same amount of content... and they both fail miserably in the face of modded PC Oblivion. If your computer can run it... there is no excuse not to get it on PC. It is a VASTLY superior experience.

I have to agree with everyone else... get the PC version. After experiencing what Oblivion has to offer (200+ hours guaranteed), mods will keep you going for another 200.
