I play fighting games and stuff for the most parts of my gaming. I love the challenge my opponents on 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, ect. I enjoy just about every fighting games I played my gaming life. Now in this thread, list the fighting games you played, doesn't matter if it's old, new, let's see your list.

Yeah it's a lot of fighting games, even I have a hard time remembering combos but easy to master when I'm playing any fighting games.

The DOA series since the first versions of 3, the Tekken series since 2 and to a lesser extent 1, the SF series since the original 2, Soul Calibur since it was Soul Edge/Blade, Art of Fighting since 1, World Heroes since 1, and the VF series since 1, all the Marvel/Capcom-type games (including stuff like X-men vs SF). I dug MK1 but I wasn't too into the sequels.

I also dug Time Killers and it's psuedo sequel/spinoff Bloodstorm which was terrible but you could cut someone's legs off and the match didn't necessarily end.

King of Fighters since 97.

The Fatal Fury series since 1.

Powerstone 1 and 2 on Dreamcast.

Killer Instinct 1 and 2.

Psychic Force 2012 on DC.

And Tech Romancer, a fun giant robots battling fighting game where the characters were all obvious knockoffs of real anime giant robots.

I've played and loved so many fighting games over my gaming years, ever since Street Fighter II first hit the arcades. Way to many to list if I listed all the ones that I've played. Some of my favourites though are:

- Street Fighter II, IV, Alpha 1, 2, and 3

- Darkstalkers

- Marvel vs. Capcom 1, 2, and 3

- The King of Fighters '95, '96, '98, XIII

- Blazblue and it's subsequent games

- Dead or Alive and it's subsequent games

- Tekken and it's subsequent games

- Killer Instinct

I really enjoy the artwork, character designs, music, storylines, and learning the mechanics and combos of fighting games.

The rest was pretty meh to me ... on the SNES many fighting game ( well outside of MK ) had all copied Street Fighter fighting moves and even caracter cast to the point it was ridiculous ... Then we had Virtual Fighter on the Saturn that shook everything bringing Tekken and later Dead Or Alive. ... even SquareSoft tried fighting game during PSOne time with Bushido Blade and an anime style fighting game that was so bad but sold well enough because it came with FFVII demo ... Because of those Capcom and Midway tryied 3d fighting too during the PS2 days but it was crap ... it was a dark time for fighting game.

PS360 had the return of Street Fighter as a good game since they stopped making Alpha serie and MK return in force and proved that they could still make good MK game. Since Virtual Fighter, Tekken and Dead Or Alive are pretty much dead.

Everyone should play The Last Blade 1 or 2 if you haven't already.

I'll look into it, never heard of it.

My favorite Fighting games are Smash Bros and Final Fantasy Dissidia.

Although I also enjoy Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive, and Tekken. I'm not really all that into either of these though.

It's SNK's other samurai fighting game from the late nineties. It's a bit more complex than Samurai Showdown and takes itself a little more seriously. Both games are on Wii's virtual console, 2 is coming to PS4, and 1 is available on Humble Bundle. LB2 is the slightly better game, but you can't go wrong with either one.

Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves...

is in my opinion the best fighting game of all time.

Some of my other favorites include Super Street Fighter II Turbo, KOF 2003, and Street Fighter Alpha 3. And Tekken of course.
