The Future of gaming....

I am a 34 year old gamer and this is what I been thinking about for the past couple and playing for weeks on end....I think that this is going to be a awesome console generation when it comes to all the awesome games and 2 awesome consoles....The Playstation 4 and the Xbox One are my favorite consoles and I am am no longer a fan boy....How can you be a fan boy when we have 2 awesome system out that is giving us gamers awesome games and technology.....Happy to see that gaming is moving forward.....

That's a good attitude to have... if only a few others on here would adopt the same way of thinking.

Good attitude, bro. It's too easy to be cynical lately. I feel it's better to just look for what you enjoy and focus on that.

Yeah I'm having a great time with this console gen as well. I have an Xbox One and Wii U and have a ton of excellent games to play already. Would like to get a PS4 sometime in the near future as well.

I agree, although I have switched to being a pc over consoles this generation is great, lots of great new games coming out and the indie scene is bigger and better than it has ever been, which is something that I personally love.

I have a feeling that this will be a great generation, but I have a feeling that it's also going to be the last that I participate in for a while. My game time has decreased incredibly. As an idea, the rest of my year... regardless of how many incredible releases are coming, looks like this: Uncharted 4... and maybe Mass Effect Andromeda. The rest will have to wait sadly.

@Telekill: I understand with what you are saying about taking a break from gaming for a while but just to let you know gaming will always be here when ever you decide to return....But when you come back just to let you know a lot of awesome games will be waiting for you....

There's no point in having the all the game consoles and saying you love one. What would be the basis of having them all?

@spynx: You are right......What is the point in saying you own all the game systems......Like for me I love video games.....I bought the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 because I love all things gaming.....

Fingers crossed NX won't be another disappointment.

Yay for happiness. I wish people were more happy with games, instead of cynical. Aren't games meant to be enjoyed? Have fun? Not be a cynical dumbass making everyone else's life suck?

Anyway, I'm enjoying this generation as well. Own a PS4, and this year is looking to be the best year in gaming that I can remember.
