The longest you've ever played in one sitting?

There was a time when I spent nearly 6 hours straight trying to beat God Of War's CotG, from 9pm to around 3am. By the time I completed my little marathon, I vowed to myself never to do that ever again. It was sheer madness.

everytime i see these kind of thread, my answer is always the same.

and anyone who played the game I played should have same answer.

Final Fantasy XI. 36 hours straight.... which was needed for me to do to get NM in that game.

I can't go for more than a 6 hour session without getting a headache. Also, I tend to get sores on my rear from sitting down for long periods of time.

I guess I'm not fit for an MMO.:P

There was this one race in Gran Turismo, where you have to race like 100 laps or something. Took me almost forever to finish that race. If I'm not mistaken, it was about 3-4hours or something..maybe longer.

Anyone remember which GT ?

Well... not to date myself, but I remember when Street Fighter 2: Turbo came out for the SNES, me and my friends would play for like 10 hours straight, taking turns. I remember playing fighting games for long periods of time back in their heyday.

But since then I usually don't play for more than a few hours. I get restless, and have to go do something else!

There was this one race in Gran Turismo, where you have to race like 100 laps or something. Took me almost forever to finish that race. If I'm not mistaken, it was about 3-4hours or something..maybe longer.

I think it was GT3. I played all of the marathon ones too. I remember one where I thought if I chose the fastest car, I'd finish quicker anyway. Unfortunately, it was a certain time, no matter how many laps you did. Cos I chose the F1 car, I laped everyone by the 3rd lap.

To answer the question for this thread, I've done a 10 hour stint on Tony Hawk 2 that one really sticks out. But I think I've done a 12 hour stint, playing different games. I did a 25 hour session about 4 weekends ago, from Friday to sunday evening.

I think about 8 hours, probably more.

I always find it funny when on games such as MGS4, they advise you to spend no more than one hour at a time on the game without taking a fifteen minute break:lol:.

probs 18 hrs on diablo 2 [was deffo at least 12]

more recently i spent 10 hours [8 hours in 1 sitting & about 2 hours on the other] playing smash bros brawl they day it came out

Probably Kindom Hearts. 14 hours one day, then 20 the next.

4 hours. That's the longest I can play. I can't even stand sitting (LOL) for more than 1 hour. So after sitting for an hour, I take a break for a couple of minutes to walk around and stretch a bit. :)

Oblivion for 15hrs straight when it came out a couple of years ago.

My buddies and I will clock in like 5-6 hours of Gears MP when we feel like it.

I also put in 10 hours to Final Fantasy Tactics A2 on the first day.

I beat Prince of Persia: The Two thrones in one day....

I like my games =P
