The next Hitman game...where is it?

Being a huge fan of the Hitman series, I am quite sad that there has been no news of the new Hitman game :(

Blood Money is one of my favourite games ever, and the idea of a new Hitman game being specifically designed for current-gen hardware is mindblowing:shock:

Hopefully it shall be released or announced next year

There was a new one annouced in the works but that annoucement was a fair while ago, they are probably doing something pretty big to keep it secret for this long.

Hopefully they are making a new engine, reworking the game to be truly multi-directional in how you approach objectives, while hitman games are fantastic they still feel limited in giving true freedom to approach to the player.

Man i Actually starting liking the series after playing the broken buggy 1st game(Codename 47). I played Blood Money after that and it just pure awesome(Except the white house level.That was dull,underwhelming and just plain lame). I then got my hands on Silent assassin. Problem is I was very good at blood money and found Silent Assassin to be very very very hard and frustrating. I actually abandoned the game on one of those outdoor japanese levels. I picked it up a month ago and read some walkthroughs and realised that the game is completely different from blood money. Fortunatly i hadnt played blood money in a while and was open to the way silent assassin played. I got a sense of the controls and fell in love with the game. Once i got a feel for the game, the game was a blast. Epic in every concievable way.

Sadly when i played blood money again immediatly after i found blood money to be pathetically simple and straightforward. Strange eh. I just hope noone make the mistake as me , and play blood money then silent assassin. It will ruin SA for them . Im so happy I picked it up again. I would have missed out on arguably the most awesome hitman game.

As for a next gen hitman game.......yes. They should make the game more open ended with waay more choices and alternative techniques for taking out targets. Notoriety meter was useless so they should leave that out. i would love another hitman game. Im still sad waiting for another splinter cell as well.( I love them equally).:).
