I know that it's a long way before it is finally out, but I decided to get the ball rolling and start up an official thread about Capcom's latest fighting effort, Street Fighter X Tekken. This is the one thread where anything and everything SF X Tekken should be discussed at here on the Gamespot forums. Like with my Marvel Vs Capcom 3 thread, this is the thread where all the current information is complied, all confirmed, so that you may stay up to date with this latest game and to hear your thoughts about it. This posting will not be picture-heavy, so please do not click on my thread expecting to see a gallery of pictures and videos. I hope you guys are interested in the game as much as I am and will enjoy talking about it. Here's the deal thus far...

Any kind of storyline that we should be concerned with for this game?
There hasn't been any official information in regards to the storyline for SF X Tekken just yet. Once that information is also revealed offocially, it will also be posted here.
What makes this fighting game different then the rest?
In basic terms, this is the first time that characters from both Street Fighter and Tekken will clash each other. From the looks of things, this is meant to be a tag-team figthing game, where you can swap out fighters at anytime during the match. Unlike Marvel Vs Capcom 3, you can only select up to two, unless noted otherwise. Like with any other fighting game, your goal is to destroy your opponent by any means necessary, through devastating combos solo or with your chosen fighting partner. If you read more below, I've included some new information for you to read...more will be updated as more is revealed!
Here's some more information about a few new aspects of the game that will try its best to make it stand out from the rest of the crowd, courtesy of Gamespot's new preview of SF X Tekken.
-Unlike Marvel Vs Capcom 3, if one of your fighters is defeated, the round is over. So it's best to make sure you take your current fighter out of the match before he or she receives the death blow.
-Like Marvel Vs Capcom 3, however, there is an air launch technique you can perform on your opponents by pressing fierce punch and kick simultaneously. This is a great way to begin juggling your enemy in the air.
-Each fighter has a super meter that is broken down into three segments that could be used to perform EX moves of their special moves. The first segment would be a regular move, the second would be an EX version of that move, and the third would be the super move.
-All the stages will have a fantatical look to them and will even include fan-service, according to Yoshinori Ono, who was interviewed in the video that's included with the preview I mentioned above. For example, one level, which mainly consists of dinosaurs...if you look closely, you'll see Alex from Tekken wandering around in the background. The stages are also meant to be a fusion of both Street Fighter and Tekken, so it won't be like all Tekken stages or all Street Fighter stages. This is a game meant to have the best of both worlds in terms of its look and appeal. I should also mention that the dinosaur level also had two parts to it, so it looks like this is something we will seen often in stages for SF X Tekken.
Enough about the small stuff, let's get to the good stuff! What about characters?

Will there be a section for DLC content on this thread, Meta?
Yep! In this section, I'll let you know what kind of content we will be getting. Course, we will have to wait for Capcom to spill the beans on that one and you know how long the wait will be, more than likely irritating! But don't worry - once something is revealed, I'll post it here!
What kind of games modes will be included in the game?
I can already imagine single-player content, as well as multiplayer. I would also expect a training mode as well. Once a full list of modes has been revealed, it will be posted.
Can we discuss the game in general with this thread?
Of course you can! This is one of the primary reasons why I made this thread, so that we can all enjoy the ride from start to finish. Please talk about anything and everything Street Fighter X Tekken in here. The more, the merrier, I say! Also, I wish to quickly add, but if you found something that I did not see just yet or was blind enough not to discover on my own, feel free to post it on here and I will not only it include it here, but give you credit as well! Thank you!
Wait! What about reviews, Meta?
