The Order 1886 dissapointing!

I played my fair share of The Order 1886, and yes, it didn't live up to expectations. It seems that it was too short? clocking in at about 5-9 hours of gameplay! also, IGN, Metacritic, etc. didn't give very good reviews either. But, Destiny didn't do too well either, and it still was an okay game. I hope that people will look past all that and see that it wasn't that bad of a game. At least, that's MY opinion.

It got mixed reviews which is a perfect reflection of the game, some gamers liked it, while others don't! The Order had it's obvious flaws but I would say that the weapons,story and gameplay where solid.

The Order was one of the best movies I ever played and that is not a bad thing it's just the gameplay is not as compelling as it could have been. I personally would give it a 7. Well worth the experience just know what your getting into.

I haven't played it yet so I can't give my opinion as such. But I can say that after being fairly hyped for this the last few months, the reviews and negative comments have pretty much killed my interest in this game. I'll probably rent it or pick it up cheap in a years time due to its length.

I enjoyed it. I'm honestly not understanding why people dislike it so much.

This is correct. I rented 1886 from gamefly and the game was great with awesome voicing, nice graphics, [but that's just eye candy] way too short depending on how you finish the game, the combat shooting was just average for a 3rd person shooter, I was expecting to fight more Werewolf's not Humans, and my beef with 1886 is there were too many QTE and some felt unnecessary and especially the stealth missions. I'm sorry but the game was not worth for what they were asking for, $60 is way too much for this type of game and it's best for rent.

@davillain- I would say that most of your points are valid but whatever price a person decides to by it at, besides the graphics, the Order is not spectacular but it is a good game.

I beat it at a friends house in like 7 hours. It was pretty alright, but short. There were too many QTEs for my liking. I would never pay $70 for this one though. It has no replay value, which is a big deal with such a small game. Its a great retail at the very least.

I haven't touched my ps4 since I finished this game. the order was just so incredibly frustrating. Not because it was bad but because it was so mediocre. Had the game not had such an amazing world and relatively amazing premise it wouldn't even be discussed today. ready at dawn clearly has the ability to make some brilliant games the order 1886 shows that. But I have never felt so scammed in my life
