If you like a game you see and it has been developed for home consoles then buy those consoles, simple. For some games it comes as no surprise (with a pretty long heads up) that they're either going to be console exclusives or multi-platform with home consoles in mind. I reiterate, If you like the game then buy the console/s it was announced for.
PC's get no special treatment just for being PC's, nor do their owners. I'm tired of this sense of entitlement that PC owners have like everything multi-platform should be GUARANTEED to make it to their platform day one, regardless of their being ANY indicator that they would. It has been proven that historical precedent means nothing, especially with shifting platform allegiances. I don't have a PS4 but I have an Xbox One. When they announced 'Bloodborne' for PS4, I didnt go 'I am massively disappointed', Or for a better example, when Street Fighter 5 was announced PS4 exclusive (having historically been on both microsoft and sony platforms) . I thought, I might pick up a PS4 sooner to play these game.
Whenever PC gamers see something that looks fantastic on consoles upon debut, they can't help but cry foul of there not being a PC release date. I witness it EVERY F***ING TIME. They then proceed to cry foul that something has been downgraded just because it was 'developed' on a PC but doesn't seem to have a release announcement on PC. Well no sh** Sherlock!, all games are developed on PC's. That doesn't mean they're optimised with PC's in mind nor is it an indicator that there is any intention for the developer to release the game for PC.
I may be making assumptions here but my impression of many whiny PC gamers is that they only seem to give a sh** about 'TEH GRAFIX' and dick measuring Nvidia GFX cards. I would hope that PC gamers who see there fellow PC brethren bring PC gaming into disrepute with their pettiness, would call this out and support me on these observations...
I certainly hope your responses will not prove me right
