Is the joke that you can beat everyone with Metal Man? Because that's not even true. Or am I supposed to laugh at the brutality of it?

bit of both. you can use metalman to beat several of them flashman and woodman are at the top of the list.

I thought this would be one of those intelligent threads that said: "The sad truth about Megaman 2 is that it sucks pretty badly compared to megaman 3."

Fail. It's a paper rock scissors game. Metal Man isn't used for all the robot masters, not even close to all of them.

This... Megaman 3 was to me the best in series by far. 2 words... Doc Robots... I loved that section of the game!

I also think the third was the best one, but the second's great as well. I love all of them, but 3's really my favorite. But the comic's funny but so true XD

I don't think so. Is all I'm gonna say.

Megaman 2 is one of the easier titles in the series, but it's also one of the best.

I personally like the first one over the second one but I think part of the charm of the series is that you have to experiment with different power-ups and abilities you inherit after the defeated bosses. It would be boring if you just knew what to use in every situation. Killing the bosses is no problem even with the default blaster.

A lot of them, yes. But I have serious doubt that anyone can beat Quickman with just the pea-shooter alone.

I love this game as well but have only played the "normal" American version until recently. I bought the game on PSN, but it's the Japanese version and wow it's a lot harder. I did manage to beat Airman though.

Uh, no. Seriously, that's your opinion which you're definitelyentitled to, but I can assure you that the word "sucks" and Mega Man 2definitely don'tbelong in the same sentence (much less a title to ANY thread). Mega Man 2 and 3 are bothawesome games and I'll leave it at that.
