After Spending more than 200 hours over a month or so i finally beat The witcher 3 and "some" of the side quests and question marks....

it was the best thing i've EVER experienced in gaming... and i can't wait for " the witcher 2 size expansions "

this will absolutely be my game of the year as i see no future games can or will exceed it..

but the problem is that after experiencing such a wonder of a game i nearly lost interest in all other games as they're no where near immersive or beautiful or engaging as the witcher 3 is ... and i find myself unable to get excited enough to play another game for a while now ...

so any recommendations for this stillness state...any games that might be good enough to get excited for after beating an awesome game

and am i the only one with that problem !!

Definitely happens. You said yourself that no game will even compare. Might be best to put the controller away and just not game for awhile. Come back in a month and you'll be reinvigorated for the fall season of launches :)

I think the Witcher 3 is fantastic, but I haven't finished yet partly due to the fact that I've been taking small breaks so I don't burn out on it. As of right now, the Witcher 3 is my GOTY, but I have high hopes for Fallout 4.

To answer your question, games to get excited for:

  • Fallout 4
  • Mass Effect Andromeda
  • Uncharted 4,
  • and when CD Projekt Red gets around to it. Cyberpunk 2077.

Yeah that's what I did after I finished Witcher... had a break from gaming for a good couple of weeks. Definitely helped.

The game is fantastic, but I'm still excited for the upcoming games and of course the TW3 expansions :)

I'll come back once I've finished the Witcher 3... I'm 150+ hours in already.

i dont know about fallout 4 ( although i am a big fallout 3 fan ) but pretty sure mgs 5 is going to be amazing unless konami fucks it up even more ... but all in all i doubt any of these will rise to the level the witcher 3 did .

Yea I know the feeling. Games so good they tend to make all others feel like shit. It'll pass.

Ya I felt the same way. Until I started playing Life is strange which is bar far the best modernized version of point and click story game you use controller like any other game to walk around instead of clicking shit. It was the perfect side step in genre's and feel and the story and all it's outcomes will have you wanting more. It's a lot like the walking dead and game of thrones games but actually done well, with quality done lower end graphics and the game actually runs well instead of constant stuttering like both of those game I mentioned seem to have even on good hardware.

Yes the Witcher 3 and Life is Strange are the best games I played this year.

TW3 - Has very good content { story, length choices e.t.c } and I actually enjoyed the combat.

Life is Strange - This game has the best story ever and its filled with choices that can have extreme consequences.
