Viva Pinata Party Animals, is a recent example, and is one that first came to mind when I thought of this thread...I absolutely loved Viva Pinata, and although the game was marketed as a kid game, it really an addicting god sim, underneath its colorful kiddy coat. Viva Pinata has indeed developed a sort of cult following of adults like me,and is remains relatively unknown to adolescents. However, Viva Pinata Party Animals is the game they should have made, and was the game many people were expecting due to the way the game was advertised. Is it going to be a good game, all indications lead to no, the problem with Viva Pinata was bad marketing/advertising and definitely not its gameplay. Honestly, I do not see a big market for a mainly kiddy mini-game collection style game such as Viva Pinata Party Animals on the 360, if MS was smart they would have allowed Rare to make this game for the Wii or the DS (two consoles with real mass appeal and a huge number of clientele), because I honestly believe this game is not gonna do worst than the first game which established a niche market for itself through word of mouth.
