Does anyone else feel bad when using them? I mean, usually I make a stupid mistake and get stuck for days before I give in and use'em, but if I can I try to avoid them at all costs.

So how often do you use them and how do you feel afterwards?

I use them depending on games. There are games which have quite annoying collection achievements, and I'd rather use a spoiler-free walkthrough rather than spending pointless hours searching myself.

I dont feel bad about using them at all. Sometimes you'll get stuck or not know what to do. A walkthrough is just helpful advice.

I hate when people say you shouldnt use them because its cheating or it makes you a bad player. People who say that need to get over themeselves thinking they're too good and hardcore to admit when a game is hard or they need help.

If i get stuck on something and can't pass it for like bout 10 - 20 mins of doing it then I wouldn't mind using it at all.I loved the game guides book thoughsince its way better but the cost is to much :(

I don't mind them for when I'm at a point in a game where I feel like if I don't overcome this task, I'm never going to play this game again. This is usually when I'm lost in a maze and this prevents me from doing anything else in a game. I know people who always buy a game guide when they buy a game. To me that's like giving up before you even try.

I almost never regret using them. Oftentimes they point out those little things you'd miss otherwise, like random missile upgrades in Metroid Prime 2. The way I see it, they save a lot of frustration.

I only use them for stupid achievements/side quests. I used almost a entire through walkthrough on Fallout 3 and it completely ruined it. I can't even really go back to it, out of boredom.

I just have a feeling I would have liked it a lot better and been more playable if I hadn't used the numerous walkthroughs.

I use them only if there's a particularly difficult puzzle or if I'm stuck elsewhere.

And I don't feel bad about it, as I use them sparingly and just for what I need. Besides, it's better than shelving a game from being stuck.:P

I generally use them when I get really stuck on something and give up trying to figure it out. Other than that, I rather find things on my own.

I don't use walkthroughs for action adventure games or most shooters. But if it is a RPG, I need a walkthrough so that I can get every item and do every quest.
