Yep its finally (sudo) confirmed HERE.
What consoles do you hope it'll be on and what do hope will be in the game?
MORE MONKEYS PLEASE! :Pdoominatorx6
If they're flying monkeys then yes please more monkeys, but yeah thats awesome I love TS I hope it come out on 360.
Excellent news. The day this releases is the day I finally go "next gen".ymi_basic
i remember back in the day, i would sleep at a buddies house and we would just play TS like aaaall night long against the bots, its seriously gotta be my favourite non-online multiplayer gamer ever :]

I prefer versus play with a couple bots per side. Timesplitters with all its modes and options is the pinnacle of offline multiplayer. If the videogame industry tries to equate multiplayer gaming with online gaming, I think it will hurt them badly.I really hope they focus on that point and don't waste too much effort on the single player mode (which has always been very generic imo.) If they want to beef up online at all, it should be the mapmaker/map exchange and leaderboards.

agreed, keep the ofline multiplayer fantastic as always, improve it more too for that matter...dnt bother that much with improving the story beyond past games, and don't bothering concentrating on online mp too much either, apart from allowing us to upload and download user created and bonus free radical made maps of course (just like with past games, but this time with a proper dedicated server made for them rather than using the standard net and having to use PC to ps2 data transfer methods)...online serves little purpose beyond extending the # of ppl you can play with when it comes to the ts games anyway really..they could just make the online pretty much a copy of the offline and the online would still be fantastic...still not as good as the offline though :PHaze looks ok and everything, but I wish they'd just put it on the backburner and get Timesplitters 4 out... This series has some of the best multiplayer out there, and I could spend hours making maps.rragnaaryou can't rush greatness :P we'll just have to wait til they're done with haze and then til they've got a complete version of ts4 out in the stores in the end...i'm certain it'll be worth the wait though at least :D
Time Splitters always has been a smooth game for me. No lag whatsoever even with 10+ players.
So in this one...
I guess I wasn't challenged enough. 5-star bots were still ridiculously easy. And add some recoil to the guns so there's some mastering to it.
Better AI that can aim would be appreciated.

Oh my gosh! I really hope it releases for 360 and not just PS3. Timesplitters 2 is, by far,my favorite console shooter ever.TM_Darkside
More than likely, it will. A Wii release? Well, it's nice to dream...
After TS3 I'm not so sure about this game... TS2 was awesome but TS3 was so much worse.inoperativeRS
I wouldn't say it was so much worse; just that is was not different in anyway with a lot of the good bits of TS2 removed.
After TS3 I'm not so sure about this game... TS2 was awesome but TS3 was so much worse.inoperativeRSI agree TS2>>TS3. They did some good things with TS3 (like stats pages after each match andimprovements in the mapmaker) but they also slowed the game down and killed the framerate by trying to make it too pretty.
Anyway, I don't care what platform(s) it comes to since I haven't gone next-gen yet. In a way I wouldn't mind it coming to the Wii since it's cheapest and its casual games fit better with my approach to gaming lately. I'd like to see what PS3 and/or 360 would do for the game too, but I don't see howthe game could be developed to be multiplatform including the Wii.
I'm a little reluctant about TS4 for the 360 and PS3 because I'm a little suspicious that the speed of TS3 was compromised to be more suitable with online lag. If that's true, I'd rather see an offline game... but I doubt that would fly on 360.

Timesplitters is so fun. i have all the ps2 ones. which consoles are they makin this one for?BadBoyz7WC06360 wii and ps3 maybe ps2

That was incredible news. TS4 should definitely be on PS3 and/or 360. A Wii version would just water the game down. TS4 must only be in PS3 and 360 so it can have all the power it needs. That would be Free Radical's greatest chance of creating the world's second AAAA FPS. (They made the first AAAA FPS, Goldeneye, when they were apart of Rare)gunswordfistJust to let you know i have known about this for about a month cuz i just typed it in and it said TBA
