To be a hardcore gamer, but not a game addict.

In your opinion, how many games that you should buy (or play) in a month (in average), to be considered a hardcore gamer, but not a game addict?

This thread is not about hardcore gaming, but about game addiction, so if you have opinion in this matter, feel free to opine (keep it relevant though).

Isn't being addicted to something different than doing it alot?

If you find yourself going into Call of Duty 4 withdrawal and buying games like Spyro on PS1 only to grind in the blender and inject into you to get that CD-high, then you are probably addicted.

I love games, I know a lot about them but they are just for fun, something to pass the time. People who think they arehardcore or play obscure games not because they like them but because they think they arecool or something is just sad in my opinon.sydstoner

quite true....a game is fun for the sake of being fun...it saddens me that gaming is going down the online and gorefest road to please the idiots of the gaming world
