-TEKKEN 5
-Ratchet Gladiator
-Wipeout Pure
-Sonic Adventure
-Uncharted 2
-Burnout Revenge
-Bioshock(makes me feel like I'm really in the past)
These are my favourite soundtracks because they bring back a lot of great memories for me. why I put TEKKEN 5 and Ratchet Gladiator is because I just love the rock tracks in these games.
1 Red Brinstar Soil theme. I love this track, each one is great but this one is really the only one that truly encapsulates what Metroid is to me in terms of atmosphere and setting.
2) Symphony of the Night. Probably the most epic intro music to a game I've yet to hear. Set the mood perfectly:
3) Panzer Dragoon Saga Altom Boss Theme. Thanks RF! The whole game was one amazing track after another, but this really stood out:
4) Fallout 2 The Den. Incredibly atmospheric, and a decent accomplishment given what they had to work with back then:
5) The Veldt theme from FFVI. I have this on my iPhone to bop around to while driving.
6) SMG 2's Bowser's Lava Lake boss music. Never get tired of it:
7) Yea, I guess I'll shoot one up for Halo. Epicness on the intro.
Not the most original list by miles, but nevertheless some of my all-time favorites.
Soundtracks as in whole OST or just one song? I'll go with the latter:
7. Worms Armageddon - Main Theme
6. The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind - Call of Magic
5. Doom 3 - Main Theme
4. Duke Nukem - Main Theme (any version)
3. World of Warcraft - Legends of Azeroth
2. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver - Ozar Midrashim
1. Diablo - Tristram Village
Shadow of the Colossus
The Last of Us
Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross
Super Metroid/Metroid Prime
Uncharted 2
Mega Man X
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
God of War 3
My list would be dominated by Sonic, so I'll keep it one per franchise:
