Geez top 5 ever?

X-com Apocolypse(pc) / I also loved X-com UFO Defense (ps1/pc) but it plays different.

Shadowrun (gen) I own a genesis solely for that game, its based on my favorite pen and paper rpg.

Azure Dreams (ps1) This game has crap graphics, lame music but when I play it I am removed from the stream of time.

Disgaea 1-3 (ps2-3) These games are funny as hell, the world and ambience is killer, and the grinding and godlike rise to power is unrivaled and unmatched by any other game on the planet.

Uncharted Waters: New Horizon (snes) I love those old school sailing warships, and this game has so much freedom and interaction. You can be a pirate, a trader, an explorer, or a diplomat and switch it up at any time you feel like it. You can roll into some enemy port and plop down a bunch of money as an investment and make that port love your contry instead. The ship battles and dueling was awesome and I just love playing this game. Can't get enough.

KoToR 1-2 (xbox) The most awesome game to ever draw you into the star wars universe and make you feel like a jedi. I love the autonomous combat and the combat animations as you see your guy ducking and weaving and locking blades with the enemy and deflecting gunfire and then you have all your cool powers to unleash. Its just beautiful to watch but at the same time you feel in control. The only bad part is that once you play through a planet the bad guys or any other bad guys never show back up, so if you ever want to experience the awesomeness again you have to replay the damn storyline.

I have way more favorites. No matter how special or awesome your favorite game is you can't limit yourself to it. Every game has their limits and or flaws. Other games can be just as special to you but just in a different way for different reasons. Its like saying Blue is a better color than Red.
