Trying to remember the name of this game, help would be appreciated!

Perhaps it's Jade Empire? There's no monkey protagonist, but it's set in ancient China and your character can use spears/staves as weapons. Also there are minigames which involve airships (released in 2005).

I believe it's an action/adventure/platformer type of game where you play as a martial artist monkey. He used some sort pole/staff as a weapon. Game has a bit of an old-time Chinese look/feel to it, although I do remember some level where you had to fight against airships or something similar. It's a console game, but I don't remember for which console. I'm also pretty sure that it came out around the year 2000. Sounds a bit like Dragon Ball, but it is not. If anyone could help me remember the name of this game, I would really appreciate it. Used to play it all the time when I was younger and I've been racking my brain trying to remember what it was.wubikro
