Trying to remember this game for Sega G...

I can't remember the title of this game but it was for Sega Genesis. You play as these really big monsters and you would destroky buildings and mountains and stuff and I vaguely remember the scene that whenever you died, it would show a continue countdown and a picture of a monster's mouth open with teeth showing was in the background. Can any of you old school gamers help with what the title for it was called?

EDIT: And its not Rampage or Rage.

Yeah, I'd go for King of the Monsters as well, a Neo Geo port.

Don't remember if it only had 3 monsters to choose from.
