I'm just wondering how many of you fine folks turn OFF in-game tutorials/hints/help to discover the subtleties of it all by yourself. Anyone?

No, I leave them on since I never read instruction manuals.

I usually don't bother turning them off. I do sometimes though. Especially if the tutorial is overly simplistic. Like "Use the analog stick to move." *turns off* :P

Nah, I always keep them on the first time. I wish more tutorials were done like how they were in the first Advance Wars, though.

I don't particularly care for tutorials. I tend to read through the manual before or during game time, I prefer to get straight into the action and learn the controls the hard way. Or if I have read the manual, I don't need to learn the controls, just fine tune on the first level etc.

I usually leave them on. Sometimes if I don't use a function for a while I can forget exactly how to do something. So it helps to have something pop up to remind me.

I always use them. Sometimes having the basics of the game explained to you in real-time makes them so much easier to understand than when they are in the manual.

I usually leave them on for my first play through. Unless they do things like repeat the same tip over and over again.
