Two games to buy this holiday season????

I just wanted to get peoples thoughts and opinions on which two games they would buy this holiday season if they could only choose two. Feel free to elaborate as much as you please.

Me personally? I'd have to go for fifa 13 simply beacause im a huge fan and completely addicted to ultimate team mode. And probably hitman coz it looks boss and I like to get me some stealthy action going on.

1. Hitman Absolution
2. Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection (with a freaking load of 17 C&C Games for around 20 - 30 , all optimized for Win Vista & 7)

Anyways, I'll also be getting Resistance 1 & 2 in a bundle for 45 for my PS3.

If I would have to choose which to sort out I'd say HA because the others are more than one game :P

1. Halo4 - Good singleplayer and multiplayer with plenty of content, Will keep me happy untill the next Halo game.

2. Dawnguard and Dragonborn expansions - Spent around 70 hours on vanilla Skyrim, So these expansions will provide me with many more hours of gaming during the winter nights.

Far Cry 3

1. Hitman Absolution
2. Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection (with a freaking load of 17 C&C Games for around 20 - 30 , all optimized for Win Vista & 7)

Anyways, I'll also be getting Resistance 1 & 2 in a bundle for 45 for my PS3.

If I would have to choose which to sort out I'd say HA because the others are more than one game :P

Farcry 3- Most likely gonna buy it

Planetside 2- since it's free it's technically not buying, although I'm still gonna get it.

ZombiU- If I get a Wii-U later I'll be picking this up

I'll pick up Hitman Absolution and Playstation All Stars Battle Royal later on down the road.

Understandable. If I lived closer to my shopping area I'd likely be the same way. Still, always try to save people a bit of money when the opportunity arises :)

Are you sure that buying games just because they scored 9 or above and leaving games that are below 9 is a great idea, game critics are extremely ignorant. Some of the best games this generation have scored below 9.

lego lord of the rings and far cry 3.. both games look awesome.

I'd say Hitman Absolution is a must. Fantastic game.

The next is pretty tricky. While I am enjoying the heck out of Black Ops 2, I can't say with conviction that Halo 4 or COD is worth picking up if you only got the option of two titles. If this instance I find myself having to say Assassin's Creed III or Dishonored as the second pick.

Halo and COD titles are all fairly samey and haven't progressed much. They are great but when only 2 titles are expected to get you through this holiday I can't pick them. However if you are a multiplayer junkie than maybe those two should be your purchases, but in terms of single player they aren't worth the money.
