I decided to pick up some older games this summer so I'd have something to do. Persona 3, Xenosaga: Der Wille zur Macht, Kingdom Hearts 2... I'm all set.
You should do the same. :)

Eh......i dont know.....just picked up killzone 2....kinda sucks... I bought a ps3.. to play their exclusives.. so far nothing impressive, I just finished killzone 2 last week, feel the same. I'm just buying old games I never got around to playing, have forza 3, uncharted, and resistance 2 on the way to my house. Just go pick up some old games man.. i'm sure you didn't get EVERY game you wante to play thru your consoles life.I'm just relaxing before work. I got loads of unfinished games to complete, so I welcome this summer drought. majadamus
Same here
The summer is one of the few times I can actually "catch up" on my gaming. I have a career, and the weather gets so nice here I spend less time indoors on my TV.
Still, Starcraft 2 is coming out at the end of July. That in itself means no game drought for me.
The only game i find fun up ^^ is SC2.Well, I've been playing SMG2, a replay of JC2, War for Cybertron looks interesting and SC2 is a month away...and there's always Blur when I'm up for throwing stuff at my TV. It's good enough for me!

I've bought over 30 games on ebay.. never had a problem. Well, I have a problem right now with uncharted not being shipped, but Ebay will take care of that for me after I open my case. Honestly it's not as dangerous as people think, just don't be an idiot and you'll be fine.
Hmm demon souls is good, i hate the new banjo-k and viva pinata is not my thing. Yakuza 3 is too much fighting and i have no idea wat sakura wars is.Well I recently bought Demon's Souls, and I'm gonna pick up Banjo-Kazzoie: Nuts & Bolts and Viva Pinata soon. On top of that I still have to finish Yakuza 3 and Sakura Wars: So Long My Love.

A quick trip to the used game store has me set for games ive wanted to play but never go tthe chance. All summer... for 50$. Pawn Shops ftw!WitchsightWell the used games store around me is pretty small
I'm playing through Red Dead Redemption's single player and multiplayer. I went back and finished the last level of Splinter Cell: Conviction Last night,
after I'm done Red Dead Redemption, I have Assassin's Creed to play through.
I'm also playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and then S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl with a mod called L.U.R.K. 1.1 (It was released a few days ago) on the side.
So no, no drought for me. :P Let's see if I'm not bored by September though.
I would feel your pain. But I'm done with my games I'm going to go pick up brutal legend, prototype, and ratchet and clank a crack in time all for $75, that should keep me busy for awhile. IfI finish that I'm wanting to get super street fighter 4 and tekken 6, maybe blaz blue as well. I want to try Joe Danger and Trine off of the PSN, I also want to get burnout paradise: ultimate box. So when I get around to it, I will be having a lot of games to play, I still need to beat bioshock, God of War collection, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and skate 3. Plus I still have games from last generation like Jak 2, Batallion Wars, Metroid Prime, Dark Cloud 1 and 2. So no, for now I'm fine with the summer drought, I still need to catch up with my current game collection without even thinking about the holidays.
theres tons of old games i still need to play. I'm playing dragon age: origins and the force unleashed right now. dkdk999Same here. Summer is when I finally have a chance to work on my backlog.
I would reccomend ModNation and Red Dead Redemption. I've poured a TON of hours into them and have yet to get bored at all.
Also, there is always Fallout 3 if you're really looking for something to dump a lot of time into.
Plus, a lot of games that have great online communities (such as LBP and Modnation) are great for coming back to later and gaming further.
try some of those.
The Steam EA week game me Mirrors Edge and Mass Effect to get my teeth into. I've also just got Far Cry 2 (although it has to be said it seems like a chore at times). I also have Red Dead to polish off as well as all the other stuff I tend to buy on the cheap and never play. So in a way im glad there is some down time for me catch up. Plus exams are over for a good couple of months so that wont get in the way. I get bored easy and seem to have a compusion to buy more games so I have a massive back catalogue.
I'm catching up on games I've gotten before summer :)
Right now I'm playing Crysis. I've actually had the game for a while, but I would be playing it and get sidetracked by something new. This is actually the third time I've started the game over, but I'm determined to finish it this time. Plus I squeeze in some Forza 3 now and again. Trying to get all the achievements, which I need to do before Gran Turismo 5 is out.
I'm just relaxing before work. I got loads of unfinished games to complete, so I welcome this summer drought. majadamusThis. The drought gives me the chance to catch up on all of the games I haven't finished yet, so that's what I'll be doing. It also gives me the chance to get off my ass and go outside. :P
well it is a good time to finish games or replay your faves. Also there is some good spikes at the end of each month. At the end of June we have APB, Sniper: Ghost Warrior, Singularity. At the end of july is SC2, nuff said and the end of August has Dead Rising 2. It should be a great summer.

Last summer I decided to play Fallout 3 and I ended up putting over 150 hrs into it. It was my whole summer haha.
Making time to play: Demon's Souls, FFXIII, Harvest Moon: AP (:P). But I expect Splinter Cell: Conviction to come in this week. What I should really be doing is working out and trying to find a job :(
I have trouble even sorting my games into a workable pile to start finishing them. -.-
:Looks at piles of unfinished games:
Sometimes I can't find anything to play yet I have hundreds of things to play...
i just beat Killzone 2 on hard.
i will then beat Peacewalker
then Velvet Assassin
then 3D dot game heroes
then ill purchase Dead Rising 2 and be set until the fall :)
