Unbelievable Ripoff

Battlefield 1942 Collection is a complete RIPOFF, not even worth ten bucks.

Lousy Graphics. Worse AI. This got "Game of the Year? When? 1972?

There is a HUGE minimap in the upper right blocking your view.....and you can't close it or move it!

The AI miss 99% if the time, and the ONE time they hit you, you are not wounded, you DIE.

There is a constant NAG line on the left....text telling you names of people killed on each side....as if you know or care WHO these AI bots are! And you CAN'T TURN THIS OFF.

The game must have been playtested with chimps. Humans would have said, "This sucks completely. Fix it or go kill yourself."

Batllefield 1942 is meant to be played Online, they put Single Player there as just a small add on. Battlefield 1942 was an amazing game at it's time and i was hooked on it for hours on end. Have you tried playing it online before?

It did deserve Game of the Year at that time. Why bash a game when you've only played half it, it's all about multiplayer.

BF1942 is an incredibly entertaining game, allowing you to play different classes and drive/man a huge amount of vehicles, ranging from jeeps to planes, even battleships!

It's one of the two games that I managed to play online even when I was on 56k. It's a 2002 game, so the graphics must be dated. About the interface: yes, it can be annoying.

The bots can be stupid, I suppose, but Unreal-level bots don't grow on trees you know.
