Ok guys, I've played through Uncharted 2 Among thieves and want to tackle Uncharted Drakes fortune. My question is, will I be impressed after 2? I loved 2 but I'm wondering if the reason I loved it is because they highly improved the game from number 1. Your thoughts? Anyone play them backwards like I did?
Uncharted 1 is a very good game, though it suffers from too frequent, too long gunfights that get in the way of the exploration. Also a couple frustrating bits, but nothing game stopping. If you liked Uncharted 2 you'll love 1, just not as much.
Thanks for your input everyone! I went ahead and bought uncharted 1 to try it for myself. Comes in the mail on Tuesday. With the expectations being set a little lower from uncharted 2, I think I'll be ok. :)
This is just my opinion, but I nearly didn't buy Uncharted 2 because I disliked 1 so bad. I'm one of the few, so you'll probably like it, but it's nowhere near #2.
I started playing it today. So far I absolutely love it. Ive only noticed small differences between UC1 and UC2. Of course the graphics are a little different, and the character movement is slightly more spastic. But overall it still has that great Uncharted charisma about it. Drake is still cracking me up.
