In your situation I would buy them for PS4. You can probably find the collection for PS4 pretty cheap used and PSN often has sales.

They had the Nathan Drake Collection on sale last week for $7.99 on PSN, wish I would have bought it.

Buy it when it's heavily on sale like it was last week.

Don't bother otherwise.

There are plenty of games you should buy first.

I don't plan on ever getting them for the PS4 because I already played each game multiple times on the PS3. If you've never played them, then definitely get them on the PS4. If you want to play them again, then sure, buy it when it's on sale for the PS4.

@Jacanuk: I would not believe that video entirely. I have the collection and the controls in UC1 are still very floaty and very ineffective. UC2 and 3 work a lot better, then again they were a lot better upon release anyway.

Well, it´s Digital Foundry not some random youtuber.

And i some people like to trust the critics on sites like GAmespot and Eurogamer, and Digital Foundry is known for taking a more objective science based approach

@Jacanuk: I know it's digital foundry, that doesnt change the still very loose, floaty controls of the original, which has aged poorly and in all honesty, has not been remastered that well on the controls front

Hmm, sure

I enjoyed the remaster and as the video showed, they did a good job. And for me the controls were fine.

Honestly I could barley stand playing through the original on the PS3. The abysmal frame-rate coupled with the huge amounts of motion-blur made me wonder how this got GOTY. I bet it was just part of the game's art direction.
