UNCHARTED THE MOVIE Cast Ideas

DRAKE Nathan Fillion is my #1 choice to play Drake but he's pushing 40 and unfortunatelystars in hollywood action movies needs to start off young so they can make a million sequels.

My 2nd best choice is Jensen Ackles. If you watch Supernatural you can easily see why he would be great as Drake. His Humor not to mention pretty great acting and all American look (he already has Drakes hair) would do well.

ELENA Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Pulse) Really looks like Elena and she seems to have a similar personality. And blonde!

SULLY The holy and all knowing Bruce Campbell!!! The guy is an amazing actor and since Sam Raimi is never going to make Evil Dead 4, he needs more awesome rolls. I think he could be a great witty presence to work off of either Fillion or Ackles.

PLOT I guess the best bet would be a prequel to the first game. Some kind of adventure that shows how Drake first meets Elena. I really don't want to see them make a movie based on the first or second game or combination of both. The games are very cinematic to begin with. To just tell the same story we all know is kind of stupid. Hopefully it will be an original story.

I agree with you for the most part. I think games are slowly surpassing movies as true interactive films. Uncharted is a great example. And these days with the improvementin graphics, voice acting, and production,I don't really see the point of making amovie version of a game when it is already film like. But unfortunately because it's a $$$$$ maker, it's going to happen whether we like it or not. That's why we thefansshould at least be vocal about how these movies are made. They should make game films that compliment the game story, not tear it apart and distort it (Resident Evil: Apocalypse/Extinction). Prequels or in-between stories are a better choice than just remaking the whole game into a 90 minute movie. And we should throw out awesome actor ideas. Otherwise leave it to hollywood and you will wind up with DRAKE Justin Timberlake, ELENA Pam Anderson, SULLY David Hasselhoff. Than again the Hoff might be kind of awesome in that roll. LOL

The only people I would want to do the roles are the actual voice actors without them in my opinion it's not Uncharted I'd rather it would be CGI it would just be a lot better then live action. No one else could play Drake better then Nolan North.

Radha Mitchell would be a better choice then Kristen Bell for the role as far as portraying the character IMO. Kristen Bell just lacks that convincing toughness about herself needed for the role.

Ryan Reynolds could pull off Drake with the appropriate make-up.

This is probably the best idea. But honestly, a live-action Uncharted could work since the games are already like summer blockbuster movies, and the characters are rendered to look like real people. The problem with other VG movies is that the story and characters are so far off fromgames they're based on (I think they call it "creative license"), but everything about Uncharted feels like something straight out of an action film.

Chuck Norris as Drake. Mostly because I'd want to see the reaction, and how many people actually go see it.

I like your picks overall but Uncharted is already cinematic enough that i really wouldn't see a reason to making a movie out of it.
