Lots of people play Unreal Tournament, but I don't know the first thing about it. I just now decided to purchase a copy, but I don't know which one to get. Does the series have a story? If so, then should I just start out with the original Unreal? If not, which game do you think I should purchase? I was thinking Unreal Tournament 2004, since that's the most recent one...
Hmmm well it dosent really have to much of a story. I still own and play the first Unreal Tournament game and there isnt much of a story. So i think your fine with what ya bought. You dont have to buy the first game to know anything really. Your basiacally in a tournament and you want to become the supreme champion. :twisted:
The original Unreal and its sequal, Unreal 2, were the only games in the series to actually have a story line. THe Unreal Tournament games don't have much of a storyline to speak of. They were basically created as dedicated multiplayer games. Although you can play offline with all the UT games, you just play against bots instead of people.
UT2004 would be a good place to start. The game modes it offers are excellent and probably has more people playing it online compared to the original. You can always try out the demos first before you buy.
no story line..all basically the same..04 is the most updated though (right? ive been out of the loop for a couple months lol)..and i think still has a live online community..so get 04
