Video Game Idea WANT OPINION!!!

Ok i just thought of (what i think) is a GREAT video game idea. The game would be called"MULCHVILLES 11" (the eleven would be bloody cuts). But basiclly it would be a ZOMBIE ATTACK SIMULATOR. It would take place in a area called Mulchville and you and 11 other people would start in a grocery store and you must find Guns and Drugs to stay alive the Zombies would not be as fast as left 4 dead though. You would be able to drive cars, trucks, etc. It would be for PC, PS3, X360, Wii& believe it or not the PSP. Most of the buildings could be entered too. There will be know Special Zombies like the Tank though. There will be no story mode though. When you die it will tell you how long you survived then you will restart the game. The characters will be as follows:1 Jamacian man, 1 chinese girl, 1 black guy, 1 black girl and 1 black little girl, 2 white guys and 1 white girl,1 Mexicans kids and 1 mexican little boy, and 1 grey hound. Its like a mix betweenGTA and Left 4 Dead.

Some people think im sandbagging them when i post in gmae idea topics. But im not. Im being realistic and giving my honest opinion.

For starters, why would anyone want to play your game? If GTA had no story few people would be motivated to play the game for very long. Its why most people never get 100% completion because most don't find much worth playing for after beating the story... But your game has no story.

The entire point of Left 4 Dead is to provide replayability through randomness and a focus on multiplayer teamwork. If im getting this straight, you have 11 people and you drive around. How exactly are you gonna fit 11 people in a car? Or are there going to be 11 cars and basically a racing game? That doesn't seem to promote team work at all.

So, it doesn't seem anything like Left 4 Dea or GTA in anything but setting. Which is basically what you've loosely described. The setting of the game without any actual gameplay mechanics. The setting is the most trivial. Solid gameplay mechanics work regardless of the setting. Great atmosphere will always produce a lame game if its gmaeplay mechanics aren't very good.

AND, Zombie Attack simulator??? As opposed to a REAL zombie Attack???? And who would want to die, see how long they stayed alive and then start all over,and start all over doing what, since there is no story or point, start over being alive... ??? The only part that is even a plausible idea is the people vs. zombies, but with the likes or RE5 and such games that been over done with mixed results...

An idea would be that you are the zombie and you are being hunted by the humans and for best results there should be a storyline or at least a goal beyond staying alive...

Theres a game identical to this that is a flash game, I can't remember what its called.

Well.. I think it can be a nice flash game but I don't think you can have a success as Resident Evil or GTA... These games are so good that It will be impossible to compete against.. And perhaps the story is a quite poor for making a game.

This thread is hilarious. An idea for a zombie game isn't bad but would anyone really pay for a game that doesn't have an actual point ot it except running around randomly as different coloured or racial people looking for guns and drugs so they can survive endlessly in a zombie attack :lol:

I get your idea though and its not so bad it just needs a hell of a lot more to it.
