Basically an artist called Wafaa Bilal created a video game where the player is a suicide bomber on a mission to kill President Bush.

It is being displayed in a Chicago museum and it has faced much protest around the nation.

What do you think about the game? Does it go over the line or is it protected by the freedom of speech?

I think we can all agree that the game looks horrible....

In response to the article, I say one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. America is occupying Iraq and has caused the deaths of 1 million Iraqis since 2003. Resistance is legitamate.

It's only going over the line if its breaking a law, and it isn't.

He can do what he wants.

If it was any fun, I'd play it.

There is no such thing as going over the line in art. If you think Jihad is insane and atrocious its a way of life for more than one countrys worth of people. Most often art is just a reflection of the world we live in, the good and the bad.

I wouldn't call it a way of life but rather a necessary evil. The Afghan Mujahedin fought their jihad against the Soviets because it was the only way they could win back the land on which they've lived for thousands of years. The present jihad may not have the same noble intentions (if I understand it correctly it's more a question of politics and money for the ones in charge of it) but the same arguments are used to recruit men for it. War is not something they actually like :P

Sounds like an interesting game/objet d'art. I wonder if people actually get what he's trying to say though and not just get caught up on how controversial they think it is.

This isn't the first time a muslim makes a game based on Jihad. Under The Ashes which is a Palestinien game was among the first games that were based on Jihad and resistence in the Palestinien occupied lands. They have the right to convey their messege through every mean just as other people have the right to do so. People should know about a story from different perspectives.

the thing is, if people are gonna complain about these kind of games, then how about games like cod4 where the americans are killing the arabs and other ww2 games where the germans are being killed?
