Your plain warrior games go over the history of each officer. Empire games let you make your own officers and fight over territory(I like to own these first). Warriors Oichi was like neither. Dynasty and Samurai games got squished into one and you dont get to hear about the officers or make your own and fight over territory. All the officers from the two worlds fight against this demon guy.
If you like to have replay value then you should get Samurai Warriors 2: Empires. Its awesome.
