We need official screenshots thread.

Hello

I just tried to find some sort of official screenshot thread here in this area, but no joy.

Now, given how people like taking and sharing screenshots, I'd say it's high time someone higher up on these forums (mods?) set up an official thread just for screenshots.

That way, whenever we see something fun or spectacular in a game, we could post pics of it all here on the official screenshots thread.

Just a though. A picture says more than thousand words after all.

I see screenshot topics every once in a while, but I totally support having one be stickied so it's always on the front page. I have tons of screenshots I'd want to share, but for now here's just one from a game I played recently.

@henrythefifth: Are you asking us to spam your thread with gameplay screenshots, or you just want a sticked thread that's easy to find?

I'm not against the idea, in fact I like it lol.

But till we get one, be free to post your screenshots here!

-that'll show the powers that be that we mean business and like to take pics while we are doing the said business. To whit, playing games.

I just got Watch Dogs 2 and it looks real sweet, so I'll be posting some neat screenshots too in no time.

@henrythefifth: I've been playing that game and only realized yesterday that you can take shots without the HUD if you pull out your phone and hold a certain button to remove the icons. Wish I would have known that sooner.

Which would mean in Games Discussion Forum, How 'thoroughly' did you read.

Going to a P.C. Forum posting console or handheld game screenshots is begging for the troIIs to come out at night.

I agree with @henrythefifth it's something GD could do with, if just to increase conversation and overall interest in games.

Well, "Here in this area" can mean alot of things, i thought it was the forum in general, not the "games discussion" forum.
So that's on me for misunderstanding the phrase.

I've shared 3DS/ P.C./ and PS4 screenshots so far and OP seems cool with it. I'm hoping this is a somewhat homage to all platform screenshots as I like multiple systems :)

I agree, a sticky/official screenshots thread in Games Discussion (and NOT in that other, more toxic board people somehow put general games discussion for some reason...) would be awesome.

I would think (hope) it would open to all games, platforms, provided it doesn't break the rules. Which basically means no hot chicks.

I'm assuming you get the most fun out of action heavy sandbox games? That most would relate to GTA_

That's true RMS-HQ, you can tell people's likes from their selected shots. Bloke above, for example, seems to like dark hallways!

@henrythefifth: I like to say thanks for making the thread and I didn't notice it was sticky until I stumble at the time of Games Discussion. Also, it be a good idea to for you to put on a avatar pic of yourself so other people like myself will notice this thread more so cause the default avatars tends to tell me most of them are just spambots if you know what I mean by that.

BTW I really must repurchase Mirror's Edge Catalyst. The game looks absolutely gorgeous on PS4, and would make for very good screenshots indeed...

@claraalbert: Oh that's a perfect Game, i have also played Injustice 2 or Mass Effect: Andromeda.

I almost never take screen shots for any game other than No Man's Sky and we already have a thread for that. Here are a couple though from my other favorite game, Yakuza 0:

Yakuza Zero is very funny game. I love those arcades and mini racing tracks. Fishing was not well implemented, though, which was a pity...

-mind you, Shenmue does it all better... even now.

@henrythefifth: I love Shenmue too. I still have my Dreamcast and Shenmue 1 & 2. It's a bit dated compared to Yakuza 0 but it was and still is a great game. I hope the new Shenmue lives up to expectations. I know I'll be buying it either way.

@mark1974 Whoa! You got both Shenmues and Dreamcast??? That's amazing!

-I only got Shenmue 2 for Xbox, but it still amazes me when I play it. You can go inside hundred different stores and they're all very detailed and unique. It's so impressive for such an old game. Mind you, moving the hero about is very sluggish affair...

I'm gonna fire the game up and take some screenshots, when I got time.

@henrythefifth: I live in the United States so I had to buy Shenmue 2 as a European import. Imports were really easy to play on the Dreamcast so it was no big deal. Just have to boot up a downloadable program first and then open the disk compartment and put the game in and it works. I loved the Dreamcast so I have to keep it around. So many good games for that thing. A lot of arcadey pick up and play for short periods of time kind of games which of course Shenmue is not.

Oh no! My Shenmue 2 saves have gotten corrupted while 'moving house' from old 360 to the new one...

-so, I have to play the rather long opening before getting any good shots of it. But here's few pics of the first area...

Yesterday i played a game called neon blasters with my friends. I won the game. It's very cool to play as it's a online game. Today i don't have any of my friends to play. So, if anyone is interested to play with me can you just come online.
