Weird Game movement (pivot)

One thing that kind of bugs me in certain games is that if your character is standing still and not moving but "Spinning" in place like on a pivot is that sometimes they don't even move their legs, they just rotate magically which looks kinda goofy to me... does anyone else think that they should actually move their legs when they turn around, I mean it looks a whole lot better

Gaming really is an escape from reality. If they would move their feet when turning around, it would also take longer to do so, breaking the flow of the game. This is being rectified in the newest games, but there are worse game movements to be found: running, running, running, STOP; strafing in general; MMO movement in itself.
