That's weird, I got my spare N64 in the exact same way, with the exact same accessories, and the exact same condition. I got Donkey Kong 64 with it.

We have to take our trash to the dump and at the dump there is a "Swap Shop (people leave things that others can take for free)" inside and one day my Grandma opened a bow with a Playstaion 1 with 10 games and a Game Gear with 2 games. I guess thats not weird it's just just lucky, but thats my weirdest story

Found a Atari 800XL in a garage sale with like 12 games (including Donkey Kong) for like $2... I guess it was luck, too :P

My parents bought another N64 for my sisters (Donkey Kong 64 Bundle w/ the green 64), well when they out grew it my sisters gave me the 64 and I put it back in its original box and stuffed it in my closet.....and I forgot all about that system until I moved out of my parents house and found the 64 in my closet ---great day in my life --- thats weird too I guess

I responded to a add on craigslist about a sega genesis. When I got to the guys house he said that he had a bunch of other stuff that he really wanted to get rid of. That other stuff happened to be a Dreamcast, Saturn, N64, Snes, 2 other Sega's, a Game Gear, PS1, PS2, Sega Cd, 32x, Nes, 2 Game Boy Colors, and all the controllers and about 60 games total. I asked the guy what he wanted for everything and he said he only wanted $60. I felt terrible and gave him $100. This was the start to my video game collecting. I now own almost every system and handheld. I know I had to pay for it, but it's probably the best video game deal I will ever have.

wow that's amazing! Id say my weirdest way was, I sold my Sega Genesis as a kid, then my parents didn't like how I kept getting scrapes and cuts playing outside so they got me a N64 to keep me inside a bit more, now I'm a gaming maniac ha-ha!

I would tell you but it would put you into a coma. Nah, I was given two. One was just extremely dirty but cosmetically unaltered, the other had the outer shell cracked but I left it alone I didn't even test it or anything but the first was and still gets played.

When I was setting up my old PC a while back, I ended up having to take back around 4 or 5 defected Windows XP boxes. After the 4th one, Microsoft sent me an XBOX as a gift. I already had one so it's still sitting on a closet, still sealed in the box.

My store manager friend told me someone dropped off an Atari 7200 with 20 games and two joysticks after he found them on his trash route. He had taken the smell off, but it worked perfectly!

He let me tinker with it, and I had a ton of fun with Pole Position 2. To this day I don't know how someone could simply throw away a working game system.
