NES, SNES, PS1, PS2....and currently, the XBOX 360, it has the best hardware design and best games. Honorable mention to the Dreamcast, Turbografx, Xbox...all flawed in brand or marketing, not in design.
My favorite game is on my least favorite platform, the PC - Civilization
Playstation 2 is my favorite system followed by the Playstation 3. My Favorite game oo that is a tough one, the Grand Theft auto series(Grand theft auto 2 is my favorite still play it ), We Love Katamari (Love that game) The Smackdown series (Even though it is going downhill),Warhawk, Call of duty series the list goes on.
The 360 is my favorite system, with the gameboy color, and sega genesis close behind. My favorite game all time is Pokemon gold, and of this generation, BioShock.
Dark Queen of Krynn, City of Villains and Baldur Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal would be my 3 favorite games.
PC is my favorite game system, but Amiga would have been if it would have evolves as the PC dids...then the 360 if I must go on a console...graphics are not that important, but quality is. The 360, despite all it flaws, actually advance and promote gameplays further ahead...unlike some other consoles which are merely browsing legions of gameplays without ever getting serious and developping any. It is better to master a few, than fails hundreds.
Oblivion, Portal, Counter strike [though i quit after like 6 years of it], Halo 3, Mortal kombat [all of them] Perfect dark, doom, goldeneye, super smash bros, super mario bros 3.
