I'm looking for some good games that get over looked on the SNES. I have a lot of the bigger titles like mega man x-x3 Castlevania Dracula x Casltevania IV Yoshi's Island Final Fantasy 3 Chrono Trigger Demons Crest Zelda Metroid Earthworm Jim 2 Mario RPG and Super R-type. What are some others?

I've been thinking about rock n roll racing and super offroad.

Any sugections?

I haven't played this yet but I want to. How does it compare to other top side scrollers for the system?

For the original question, Mega Man 7 is often overlooked. If you have a GC, Wii, PS2, or Xbox, get the Anniversary Collection to play this as it is a great deal. Also, Super Star Wars is overlooked but it is hard as hell. I haven't made it past the fourth level yet but it is a lot of fun to play.

look, their are no such high graphic priented games on that platform. It just depends on your interest. Some prefer acrade while other adventure. SNES is better than pc games, cuz u can play any game on almost any pc :) no high rig required plus games are more fun on it. in this new era, everyone look for graphics, quite only a few bother d heart nd sole of gaming.. d story line. sorry...juz gone offtopic you should have mentioned, which type of games are you interested in instead :)

I haven't played this yet but I want to. How does it compare to other top side scrollers for the system?

It's one of the most atmospheric games ever released and has excellent controls. Unfortunately I think the theme of the game and lack of advertising pretty well killed it (it's rumored that it only sold around 30K and at one point suffered negative sales), which is why we still have yet to see another followup despite the Gargoyle's Quest series enjoying success on the NES and Gameboy.

As for the OP's question:

Super Widget - Good platformer that basically nobody mentions
Troddlers - Classic puzzle game similar to Lemmings, rare and quite expensive these days
Pieces - Great puzzler of the jigsaw variety
Blackthorne - Excellent Blizzard action-adventure game
Super Offroad Baha - One of gamings great guilty pleasures. You too can run over goat herders!
Top Gear 2 - IMO the best racing game for the system and still quite enjoyable.
Spindizzy Worlds - Not for everyone, but a unique puzzle game that I find rewarding.
Tin Star - Shooting gallery game where you play a bungling robot sheriff, one of only a few games to make good use of the SNES mouse.

That's good to hear, it's definitely on my SNES wishlist. It's a shame it sold poorly though, not only not getting another followup but making it harder to find and more expensive to get now too. I'm trying to find a copy for $20-30, preferably around $20 but I haven't had any luck yet.
