I think there's four main ones for me.

Fallout: Frankly I've never even played any of them. However from what I've seen, absolutely nothing about them interest me in the slightest.

Battlefield: Just an average war shooter. Use to play COD but never had much interest in Battlefield.

Dark Souls: Call me a noob, but I'm not really that good at games. I play games to chill, and get frustrated easily if I die a lot. Not sure playing a series that's known for being super hard is my cup of tea.

Zelda: Honestly not sure why I never got into Zelda, thought about getting into it a few times. Thinking about getting a Switch so I'll probably play BOTW then.

Most of them

I recall being pushed for awhile that I 'really have to try GTA3 its amazing' so I did...and it was rather unimpressive by comparison to what I was playing at the time which I dont recall what those games where.

anyway, the only games I liked that have a number at the end are No One Lives Forever and Sims

Halo: Just never really cared about shooting goofy looking aliens.

God of War: Cousin brought the 1st one to my house when it was new and I just couldn't get into it. Seemed like a prettier Rygar to me.

Gears of War: Had the 1st one. Can't remember if I beat the single player or not. Played a little of the online. Shelved it and never played any of the sequels.

Devil May Cry: Son has every one but I could never get into it. Seemed like endless button mashing.

Gran Turismo: Too much sim. I'm an arcade racer.

Sonic: Never cared about collecting rings fast.

Smash Brothers: Horrible fighting game.

Batman Arkham games -I prefer rhythm games when they're set to music and aren't pretending to be a combat system. But in all seriousness the combat is just boring and the stealth and world don't make up for it

Deus Ex: The classic example of putting in a lot of mechanics to try and cover the fact that all of them are shallow

All of Naughty Dog's series: The specific reasons are different for each series but to summarize, Naughty Dog has never really been able to make their platforming and shooting mechanics appealing

Dead Space: Not really that scary and I didn't find the cutting of limbs system particularly engaging

To name a few

Call of Duty series and anything Nintendo except Fire Emblem. I don't know if mobile phone games are included but I think I never get into Clash of Clans, Angry Birds and League of Legends(last two also available on PC) despite my friends recommend me so many times.

Metroid. I played the 1st one for 10 minutes and I didn't enjoy it at all.

Played the 1st Zelda and didn't like that either.

There are other games I haven't played but those are the main ones worth mentioning.

OP, you should try Fallout New Vegas, it is really good and the best one imo. Although you may just want to keep your cool streak of not playing a Fallout game going.

"aren't interested in"-

Grand Theft Auto/ Saints Row

Half Life

Mass Effect (Bioware in general)

Call of Duty/ Battlefield

Crysis (Crytek in general)

Final Fantasy

*They're some of the popular ones that come to mind, and I've played a GTA, Cry, and HL game. Usually the one people praise the most. And didn't rate them very highly.

Have no interest in ME because every Bioware game I've played is pretty trash from a gameplay perspective, and fans fall-back how story is the important aspect, not buying into that personally, but fans will enjoy what they will.

Dark Souls: Call me a noob, but I'm not really that good at games. I play games to chill, and get frustrated easily if I die a lot. Not sure playing a series that's known for being super hard is my cup of tea.

The DkS series isn't as difficult as the vocal minority claim. It's not an easy series granted, but not all that difficult if you avoid the PvP scene (play offline). And while I like PvP, going offline will slice the difficulty in half. Enemy patterns can be very predictable for the majority, along with being area-locked; case you want to run past to fight a boss or grab an item.

DkS is praised because they have excellent level design, combat, and are overall very fun Action RPGs.

A lot.

Pokemon,Mario and zelda: Too cartoonish and childish for my taste.

Deus Ex: Only played the first one and I couldn't force myself to play it due to ugly graphics.

God Of War: Too violent for my taste and it looked inferior to Devil May Cry.

Street Fighter and KOF: too cartoonish

Assassin's Creed: Looked too easy.

There are also lots of franchises that I've never played like Fallout,The Elder Scrolls,Monster Hunter,Far Cry and etc.

Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto would be the big two for me. I actually like GTA, just haven't really gotten into them like so many other people have.

Mario.

I've played most Mario games, and even enjoyed some, but never got really into them.

There's something in Mario games that just.. well, I just cannot get very enthusiastic about them..

@stealthfox94: Lots, Halo, fifa, nba, all the sports games, most of the racing games. The lego games. I guess I'm more of a shooter kind of guy.

RD, FF, Metal Gear, Kingdom Hearts, most Japanese games, most indie games, Last of Us, Uncharted, Whicher 3. I saw the gameplay of W3 but didn't play it. This is all I can think at the moment. I'll post more later in Part 2 ;)

Metal Gear Solid - from a distance the story elements of this series always seemed ridiculous to me and a big turn-off. I finally tried one of the games, MGS V, and did not like it at all so didn't exactly make me want to dive into the old ones.

Nintendo franchises (Mario, Zelda etc.) - I've just never owned a Nintendo console. When I was younger, I was a lot like Ghosts4ever and only liked to play 'manly' games as he would call them. I'm a lot more open minded now and will try anything, but I just don't have as much time to play games these days and I feel i'd be opening a huge can of worms I just don't have time for by getting into Nintendo stuff at this point even though I'm sure I'd enjoy many of their games.

any major Fighting Game franchise - i'm just not into fighting games.

Fortnite - I really like PUBG, but for me the success of this game stems from the fact that the mode creates a cool context for tactical firefights between squads. the relatively slow, deliberate pace and realistic weapon mechanics are a huge part of the appeal for me. Fortnite just lacks all of those elements.
