Nice thread. I used to own a PS2 and sold it a couple years ago then regretted it. I went into GameStop and bought another one (like new) for $50. I hadn't played either God of War so I got the first one plus RE 4 and Final Fantasy X-2 (I'll buy Final Fantasy X and play it before I play X-2 though). My PS3 isn't backwards compatible :( and I really wanted to play the GoW games and RE 4. Looks like I got off to a good start from what you all have said.

technically gta 4 is on ps2. . just because rstar named their latest entry iv dont mean its the fourth entry

the real gta iv is gta 3 lol,

gta gta london gta 2 gta 3 gta vice city gta san andreas gta advance gta liberty city stories gta vice city stories gta iv gta china town wars,

so in that order, gta 3 is the 4th gta title you should have played,

gta iv is the 11th entry or 12th entry to the series as a whole, china town wars is next, for ds,

there may be a wii one right after that we shall see,

and gt4=gran turismo 4 ,

the best 2 ps2 games gta san andreas and timesplitters series ,

Get real... You need at least a list of 25 games to accurately define the PS2 experience and the games that made it what it is. Also, pay 0 attention to anyone who says GOW1 and GOW2 are the 2 best games ever...
