What are the best gaming magazines?

Im getting a magazine subscription fr my birthday and I was wondering which publications other gamers felt were the best.

Personally, I've always been fond of Game Informer, but I havent really looked at other magazines. I also looked at Play, and while I think the layout is excellent they really burned me on Turok when I bought the magazine about a year ago.

I have most major consoles so if you have any console specific reccomendations I would be interested to know.

Well it depends what platform you are partial too!

But Gameinformer is great! Its probably the least biased.

If youre into the 360 more, than go with OXM.

Also, EGM used to be my favorite... but sadly they stopped making their magazine. I truly miss them :cry:

I used to have Gameinformer for years. I have a bunch of old issues of when Halo 2 was just announced and what not in a box in the garage.

I kinda stopped caring and just go to game sites every once in a while to get my information.

Game Informer is my favorite.

looks like game informer is the consensus! cool, decision made.

Game Infomer and Playstation mag is what i would go with Nintendo power is good to find out about whats new but not so great for finding out whats good.

The two I read are PC Gamer and Game Informer

CD Action a polish PC games magazine. Each month with free full games=) This month an awesome adventure game that was recently released Ceville and two other games. This is pretty much the only good thing about Poland=p
