What are the gaming seasons?

By that I mean when do games usually come out in truckloads, and when do we get nothing but the occasional POS every few weeks?

okt-dec is the most busy period becausemore people buy games

jun-july is a subtop (start of summer vacation)

What about every other month?

Also about december, not much coming out nowadays.
