Good tastes, my friend! Do yourself a favor and check out Neverwinter Nights for PC if you already haven't. It takes the basics of Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance and just makes everything about it 10 times better.

I didn't mind those games, but it was hard to play them in long stretches due to thier repetative nature, and that there really wasn't much story or depth to them. They were entertaining as dungeon crawlers go I guess, but didn't come close to having the story, characterization and depth that I look for in RPGs.
Its a personal taste thing, I completely understand why you guys liked them so much, I guess they just weren't my cup of tea.

I always forget the Dark Alliance games were on PS2, I played them on Xbox. They were fun if playing co-op but I still wouldn't include them in my top 5.
