-Donkey Kong Country Returns

-The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

i could list a load of games that i love, but nothing compares to Mass Effect 2 imho

Hey no HD ports allowed! they belong to 6th gen! they're just re-releases of older games thus technically not a part of current gen.

My top 5 was chiseled in stone with Mass Effect 2 at 4 for a loooooong time. 2014 has caused me to rethink things though, with Mass Effect's finale stammering at the 30-hour mark, and Dark Souls and Xcom being soooooooo good. So, it's time to rethink it and here we go:

1.) City of Heroes

2.) Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 (Fallout New Vegas was better but at the time and all that....)

3.) Xcom: Enemy Within

4.) Dark Souls

5.) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

This generation? AC IV Black Flag, DW8 XL and Wolfenstein The New Order. Not many good games this generation, but that will change soon.

Daaaayuuum that suicide mission... it was pretty amazing... although I gotta say, despite the underwhelming ending, ME3 wraps up storylines really well and really has a sense of epicness, especially in Tuchanka and the Quarian homeworld; for me personally they're on par with each other.

You don't consider Skyrim or GTA V as top 10 games? Though for the most part I agree with your list (especially no. 1 hehe).

For me it's Mass Effect trilogy, Skyrim and Journey.

I consider them great games and worthy of your time, sure, but they weren't personal favorites, if you get what I'm saying. All of my lists are personal favorites, not just ones I consider the best.

i cant chose the best idk, if mass effect 3 had so many different endings, that our choices from previous games mattered i would say ME-trilogy, but it failed so hard, and i dont have a clear fav game choice

As an "older" PC user (34 years :) ), I have a list that goes few decades back in time. So, my list will certainly include "Day of the Tentacle", "Monkey Island" series and "Football Manager". Also, Pirates!-like games such as "Wind of Luck: Arena" should be always on that list. Almost forgot to mention "Civilization", that I play since the first game in series :)
