My Biggest Goals:
I don't have an SNES! I know, shame on me lol. I really want a boxed one and they're mostly expensive on ebay (up to $100). I just found a guy that has a few boxed ones in really nice condition for $50. I went to order one and noticed he had a boxed SMS which I thought I should grab up right away, they're a bit more rare to find CIB. So next stop, SNES =D
After that I'd like a Turbo Grafx 16. I know it was kind of a dud, but I want it more for collectable reasons.
Then a SegaCD. Then a.... ahh...I'm gettin' way ahead of myself.
So awesome... So, so awesome. The only problem is the ribbon cable for the screen gets loose over time :/original gameboy

TurboGrafx 16 is great, you won't regret it. Try to find a Turbo Duo instead if you have some $ to spend- the Japanese titles are better to build a collection on.I don't have an SNES! It doesn't happen all the time. It happened to mine so I'm missing like 4 lines and I'll have to get a heat gun eventually to fix it. Until then I have my GameBoy Pocket which I prefer anyways :Poriginal gameboy

hmm, i dont know if its healthy for me to set goals on spending $$$. but I'll try to go to more yardsales and get more N64 games (just started collecting them), and I think I might pick up a Dreamcast and/or a SNES. Not likely to get any more NES or Genesis games though.

Oh wow, I didn't know about the Turbo Duo. Well I've heard OF it, but didn't realize it was a US release. Now I really want one lol =D
Re-Buy a GBA SP (For GB and GBC games).
Optimize My GBA RPG collection.
Optimize PS2 and PS1 RPG collections.
Optimize Original XBOX RPG Collection.
Research and Add more games to my already very long Legacy wish-list.
Try to explore Legac Titles that aren't RPG games ;) (There are quite a few non RPG titles for all of my legacy platforms that interest me.)

Agreed if you look for an excellent series on the TG16/PCE and if you get the CD I suggest playing the Valis games. IMO a very overlooked series, and sure there are ports of the Valis games on the Genesis and SNES, but they are not as good as the ports on the PCE/TG16.
The TG16 was far from a dud, just make sure when you track down games, and you want Japanese games for it, be sure to look PC Engine, as that what the TG16 was called in Japan.
I donot consider the console a dud by anymeans, it has some awesome RPGs, an amazing arrary so Shmups and some great action adventure title. Some games to start with, Final Soldier(PCE Only), Gates of Thunder, The Bonk Games, of course the Valis Games, Cosmic Fantasy II, Ys Books 1 and 2, Legendary Axe, Castlevania: Rhondo of Blood(Sure its on the PSP, but tracking down the original would be worth it and keep in mind its PCE CD, since it never came here)
GunCon 2 light-gun for PS2Emerald_WarriorI have that... I got it over 6 years ago now. Well I think that's the one. It's a shame it doesn't work on my TV though so I can't play Resident Evil: Dead Aim with the light gun (or Survivor... if that gun works with that) :(. But for me, it will probably be the following PS1 games: Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus WWF In Your House ECW Hardcore Revolution WCW/nWo Thunder WCW Backstage Assault WCW Mayhem (if I can't find my old one :() WCW Nitro (I never had the chance to play this one) WCW Vs. The World (It was a unique wrestling game and the one that kind of changed the future) Metal Gear Solid: Special Missions (VR Missions to Americans, I think) Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 and 3: Warped. I used to own all of those, but got rid of them years ago when I was younger and got a PS2 for Christmas. Well, it was my parents idea :( :P. Also, never played and want: Backyard Wrestling 1 and 2 (PS2) Cold Fear (PS2) WWII Soldier (PS2) Haunting Ground (PS2) The entire Silent Hill series (PS1, PS2, Xbox 360) That's enough for now :P.

Nice list. I agree, TG16 is far from being a "dud." Also don't bother looking for the CD add-on for the TG16. You'll need the Super System Card to play the CD's and the American version card is very hard to find (they sell for $70+) on ebay. Get a PC Engine Turbo Duo and import it if you can - it will be cheaper in the long run even though it might cost you $150+ for the console.TurboGrafx-16 is a great systems. Tons of great shoot em ups and action games to choose from at an affordable price. But once you start getting into TurboCD, things start getting expensive. The system itself is expensive. The TurboCD card you need for the system to function is expensive. And most of the games you'd want to play on TurboCD are expensive.

I think I've found an untapped gaming resource =D
My Biggest Goals:
- GunCon 2 light-gun for PS2
- Atari Lynx Handheld
Emerald_Warrior
I actually gave my guncon/time crysis 2 to a friend of mine. He said it wouldn't work on his plasma? I feel bad asking for it back, but I'm trying to get all--or most--of my old consoles up and running on a projector setup. For some reason playing at extreme sizes eases me back into the 4:3 aspect ration easier.
Funny you mention the Lynx handheld. I went to my local game shop yesterday, to pick up Mario3GBA, and boy that Lynx system is HUGE--bigger than an Ipad, I swear. I've seen it before, but nowadays I'd almost not even consider it a portable.
I've also been looking for a Neo Geo color handheld, in good condition, for awhile. Wonderswan as well.
Contra 1, 2, 3, hard Corps.
Shadow of the Colossus
Okami
Secret of Mana and Seiken Denstetsu III
These are older games I REALLY want to play. Some of them will be much easier to obtain than others...
Well, I'd like to get a Sega Genesis, GBC, and GBSP+. Other than that I'm just looking to grow my collection but specifically I'm looking at getting way more NES, SNES, N64, and Dreamcast games.PersonNinjaBtw, since I made this post I got my Genesis :)
Same with me and the Genesis. Bought the system, Sonic, and ordered a composite cable and now I won't be able to buy anymore games for it until after Christmas.OMG... i couldnt wait for next year..
i just bought a silver ps2 with monster component cables
and
a dreamcast with a VGA adaptorlol..
i also bought 1 or 2 games for both.. im broke up the butt.

My top wish list for 2011:
NES:
Power Glove
Power Pad
U-Force
Ninja Gaiden II
Castlevania III
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Battletoads
Mike Tyson's Punch Out!
SNES:
Final Fantasy III
Earthbound
Chrono Trigger
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario Kart
Super Tecmo Bowl
Starfox
N64:
Goldeneye
LOZ: OOT
Super Mario 64
Mario Party
Top Gear Rally
Mario Kart 64
Starfox 64
PS1/PS2:
MGS 3: Subsistence
Twisted Metal
Vigilante 8
Xenogears
FFVIII
Gran Turismo IV
OTHER:
Atari 2600
Sega CD/32x
Genesis model 2
I'm hoping to slowly collect older games I missed last gen.
Also, I'd like to buy a dreamcast. They seem ridiculously cool.
Turning my garage into a game room and I'm using my old 19in color tv, which will keep the retro feel, and I plan on adding some more titles as well. One of those hard to reach games I want to add is Panzer Dragoon. Its just so expensive! I also want to get a copy of the original Resident Evil for my Saturn. So many wants!
