What are your videogames resolutions for 2013?

Mine are

-When I get a Playstation 2, buy a few games at a time. Also get at least one memory card and an action replay to use after beating games

-finally rebuild my Playstation/PS1 game collection. Tired of having to look at my current small library that consists of Final Fantasy IX, Resident Evil 1 and Nemesis, Silent Hill and Parasite Eve. Work on getting games like Alone in the dark new nightmare, Driver 1 and 2, Tekken 3, any King of Fighters game 98 or 99; get another memory card since my old memory card I've had for years its bout filled up lol.

-buy a couple of current strategy guide books just for the hell of it to look at artwork or whatever

-Buy at least 2-3 Halo novels

- Finally buy myself a Nintendo DS and a few games so I can catch up with the Nintendo DS craze

A bunch of Sony games to go with it

More games for my 360 that I have not played yet

I would like to get some video game Swag

Build a gaming PC.

To not buy any more games (excluding GTA V) till I've beat my current game collection.

I have a horrible habit of buying games, when they are on sale, just to buy them cause they are on sale. So I'm done doing that.

I was actually gonna do exactally that, when the next playstation came out.

I miss playing on my PS3.

Play less games.

build a gaming PC rig.

Buy PS4 (assume it comes in 2013, assume it's gonna be pretty sweet console).

keep no limit on purchase (get what i really want to play).

that's about it.

Keep purchases down to about 15-20 games... I bought 40 this year...Minishdriveby

But I wanna build a gaming PC and start on my backlog of games, probably pick up a wii u and whichever new consoles if any come out. Theres just a couple games Id like to pick up thats already out (older titles) and try to only buy new games that I really want to play on release like Soul Sacrifice and Dark Souls 2 if it comes out

Complete all unfinished games in my catalog.

Not buy any games Day 1 and wait for either a price drop or a 'complete edition' before buying. Bugs, glitches, DLC and season passes has ruined Day 1 purchasing for me.

Pay more attention to spoiler 'let's play' vids and player reviews. Pay less attention to misleading game trailers and AAA hype. I need to see actual gameplay footage so I know exactly what I'm spending money on.

Buy fewer games.

try to control how much I purchase...going to try to keep it at around 10 this year (although I'll probably fail)

Game as much as possible before I go back to school in September.

I have one resolution regarding video games for the upcoming year. No purchasing games I do not necessarily want just because I have extra money laying around.

-Finish up Demon's Souls and play through GTA IV and FF9

-Buy some more cheap PS3 games to build my collection

-Possibly buy some more SNES and PS1 games

To be good at RTS games, and to start making videos on YouTube

Not get addicted to online multiplayer. I want to focus more on story driven games.

Great one. I'm finding I don't have as much time to game as I used to but this year I bought a few games here and there (cheap, mind you) that just weren't worth the effort to play.

My resolutions are as follows:

• Purchase fewer games at full price
  • GTAV, The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, Castlevania: LoS - MoF, and South Park: The Stick of Truth are all Day 1 buys.
  • Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider, GoW: A, etc I'll either buy used or at a sale price.
• Finish games that I have yet to beat (bolded ones are ones that have given me trouble in the past)
  • Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IX, Persona 3: FES, Dishonored, AC3, TWEWY, Paper Mario: Sticker Star & The Thousand-Year Door, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Condemned: Criminal Origins, NSMB Wii, Borderlands 2
• Replay a few games
  • Batman: Arkham City, Dead Space 1 & 2, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Uncharted 3, Halo 4
• Attempt to get my PSP firmware up-to-date even though I don't have a PC to download the update from and it won't connect to my Wifi for some reason :(

Finish off my current gen backlog before the next gen rolls around. It's going to be one hell of a challenge.

Also I have some videogame resolutions for 2013 involving certain game series

Grand Theft Auto

-get GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas for my Playstation 2. Play them before I buy and play GTA IV.

-Buy and play any of the 3 Zelda games for the Nintendo DS handhelds. Phantom Hourglass, Spirt Tracks or the upgraded 3D release of Ocarina of Time before playing Skyward Sword

Buy Resident Evil Outbreak before moving on to Resident Evi 5, Operation Raccoon City, Revelations and Resident Evil 6

Not to purchase any games on day one and buy more downloadable games.

This. I jumped on several popular game bandwagons for the sake of "expanding my horizons." in 2012. I don't regret buying these games, because they're all great games and pretty fun. But I didn't enjoy them nearly as much as the games that I did extensive research on and were really hyped for and eager to get. So I'm gonna stop jumping on bandwagons and only get stuff I know will keep my interest and cater to my tastes.
