the class that doesnt involve playing :P
cata is like WoW origional with alot less to like about the environemnts and more generic pathers and enemies standing in fields..
the PvE environment is still dry.. the raids still elitist and the pvp still based around a handful of folks dedicating themselves to keybindings like monks to silence or bible writing.
im sorry i have played WoW and i assure you its not changed much since you left.. if anything its gotten more annoying at the expense of being more "new user accessible" whatever thats supposed to mean. and their subscriptions are at an all time low.
last i check it was what 12 million after cata launched..
i think folks are learning finally how dry the overall presentation is..
either that or theyve discovered social networking and cant be bothered to play WoW because their too busy with twitter or w/e

Try the "Non-MMORPG player" class, it has a +100 Life points bonus and a +$15/month bonus, plus you get the "Decent social skills" perk. Best class ever
[QUOTE="rragnaar"]If you don't want to answer his question, don't post.ionusX
and what if you seriously want to not recommend he go there.. as it will simply be another long roadf of boredom and dissappointment and can PROOVE IT with personal experience.
It comes across as trolling in a big way when people try to derail threads. I think he'd get more help in WoW Cataclysm dedicated board.Dephends on what you want to do really. Mages are more or less the Flavor of the Month atm in PvP, so if you like playing as FOTMs pick that.
Tanks are on a high demand in PuGs and if you roll a tanking class: Warrior, Paladin, Druid or Death Knight, pick one of those. You already have a druid so you might want to continue with that one. Survival Hunters have the best DPS in the game atm.
If you wanna pick a PvP spec for your mage, go frost.
Edit: I agree with you rragnaar. He may get more help on the dedicated boards. Especially if he is asking a question regarding Massive Multiplayer Online Games. Always mmo haters and trolls favoring other mmos who will end up trolling and try to derail the thread.

Do we really want to turn forums into an aseptic "Question>Answer" thing? Think how boring they would be without a little inoffensive friendly mockery
Are we really becoming so paranoid that we can't tell whether someone is joking or trolling? Do we really want to turn forums into an aseptic "Question>Answer" thing? Think how boring they would be without a little inoffensive friendly mockery I'm not trying to come across as humorless, it can just be frustrating to want some advice and get no serious answers. I think some people are more likely to harass a new member on the boards than they are to help them. It is one thing to joke among friends or with people you've been posting with for years, but responding to a thread like this and telling the guy that he is wasting his time, or that he should get a life isn't outside of WoW isn't exactly helpful. I don't want the boards to be 'no fun' and just serious business, I was just trying to make things a little easier on a new poster.[QUOTE="rragnaar"]It comes across as trolling in a big way when people try to derail threadsBlack_Knight_00

I agree completely, although as you can see there were more people who replied to his query than not, so I think a couple ironic remarks can be tolerable in this case, I scrolled up and I didn't get the feeling we came across as offensive. I consider funny comments to be just as an important part of the forum activity as the helpful ones[QUOTE="rragnaar"]It comes across as trolling in a big way when people try to derail threadsrragnaar
Back in my WoW days there was only two classes I ever rolled past 60, a Paladin who still sits at 63, and my Druid who became the only 85 I have to date. Druid is in my opinion the games best class. I played Feral for awhile enjoying the Warrior and Rogue playstyle, then when I became bored I was able to go Balance and play like a Mage/Lock. Druid is the way to go bro :)
@Those telling him to quit, just because you don't enjoy something doesn't mean he should stop, it just means you need to move on to another post. I can spew on about how dry all of the Halo's games gameplay has been in the Xbox forums and do you think anyone will actually stop playing Halo because of it?
hi, i have a lvl 48 druid but it has got a bit repetitive atm, i also have a 79 mage, 75 warlock, 23 rogue and 69 shamanzorozha
Does your druid have dual spec yet? That lets you have 2 specs and you can switch between them outside combat, That should make things a bit more varied, If you still find it repetitve, go for the mage, they are really strong in PvP. Frost spec has no downtime when leveling and is the best PvP spec.
think its between mage and lock so which do u recommend?zorozhaMages will swear by their class, as will a Lock. Just think about what sounds more appealing to you, Mages have are all about Nukes, plus you can make food/water, and portal all over the world (Which is great since they removed the portals in Dal). Warlocks are DoTs, having a minion, and Summoning (Which is highly valued for raids). It really comes down to you and what you want to play, for me it would be a Mage, but if your that stuck level each one to 20 and continue whichever you enjoy more.
