while it would be pretty impossible given space limitations and the fact its from different companies, I would have liked to see a compilation of most or all of the games released on the Model 2 arcade board.
also , compilations which make the games look sharper/better are also welcome.
one such example is Sonic Jam on the Saturn , which has Sonic 1/2/3/Kunckles and they look better then the Mega Drive originals.
Panzer Dragoon compilation first of all, and maybe a Treasure compilation, as ModeDude said.
*Edit* How about a Starfox Compilation with every game in the series... Eehh. Maybe not. The only part of the series that has remotely aged well is SF64 and three levels of Assault.
Thankfully, there have been some great compilations in the last few years. A lot of my favorites have already come out like the Sega Collections, Sonic Collections, Mega Man & Mega Man X collections, SNK collection, Metal Slug Collection, Capcom Collections, etc.
As for ones that haven't come out that I'd like to see, I have a few:
I like this list, especially Marvel Collection. I would say change Resident Evil Trilogy to Capcom Horror Collection though and add Dino Crisis 1 and 2. A TMNT collection would also be awesome and might actually be feasible since I think all were done by Konami.Thankfully, there have been some great compilations in the last few years. - Castlevania Collection - Include all 3 original NES titles, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania: Dracula X, Castlevania: Bloodlines, and Castlevania: Symphony of hte Night. It would be soooo awesome. And since they're all 2D games, I don't think it would be hard to fit them all.
- ContraCollection - Include Contra (NES), Super C, Contra III: The Alien Wars, Contra: Hard Corps, and Contra: Legacy of War on this collection, as well as the original arcade version of Contra. Run-N-Gun heaven.
- Forgotten Realms Collection - The best series of dungeon-crawling games. Based on the Dungeons & Dragons universe. They could release em as seperate games but all together, like the Diablo Battlechest or WarCraft Battlechest. They could include Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 & 2, and Neverwinter Nights.
- The Legend of ZeldaCollection - Include NES, SNES, N64, Gameboy, GBC, & GBA entries on this sucker. I'd buy it. The Zelda' Collector's Disc for Gamecube was cool, but only had the NES and N64 games.
- Marvel Comics Collection - I'm not sure if this could actually happen due to licensing and rights and such. But if could be done, it would be freaking awesome. Include a few beat-em ups like X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse, Maximum Carnage, and Captain America and The Avengers alongside some fighting games like Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel Super-Heroes, and X-Men: Children of the Atom. I would be all over that.
- Mega Man Legends Collection - Capcom has already released a Mega Man Collection, a Mega Man X Collection, and even a Mega Man Zero Collection. But they haven't released a Mega Man Legends collection. They could include Mega Man Legends 1 & 2 and The Misadventures of Tron-Bonne, and even a couple of unlockable classic Mega Man games.
- Metroid Collection - Include all the great 2D entries: Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid II: The Return of Samus, Metroid: Fusion, and Metroid: Zero Mission in this collection and Nintendo would have a runaway hit.
- Ninja Gaiden Collection - Include all 3 NES games, the original arcade game, and the Gameboy game on this and you would make me one happy NES fan.
- Resident Evil Trilogy - A compilation that collects the 3 original Resident Evil titles.
an enhanced HD version of FF10 and even FF12 would be good I have to say . Battle Arena Toshinden........not so much :P which brings up the point , I want a DOA compilation (arcade versions where possible, and please the model 2 version of DOA1).I'd love to see an HD collection with Final Fantasy X and XII. And a Battle Arena Toshinden collection or sequel (not that horrible Wii 'sequel').. But one can only dream.

I remember people being more amazed about Toshinden's visuals then anything, but I agree if they were clever about it , it might have worked
and if you ask me, Tekken isnt all that great either, I consider Virtua Fighter and Dead Or Alive, and Street Fighter for that matter, to be better series :P
Wouldn't mind one of those myself! Well, let's see.. Hmm. I wouldn't mind seeing a Dragon Quest collection with Dragon Quest 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 together.. The Ultimate Gradius Collection with Gradius 1 through 5, a Parodius collection with all the Parodius games on it (some of the sexiest ladies in gaming history are on those games!), maybe a Road Rash collection or at least a new one with all the tracks from the first three games.. The Castlevania Chronicles featuring Castlevania 1, 2, 3, 4, Rondo of Blood, Dracula X and a bonus game: that one that was released in Japan with Kid Dracula. I think that would be a great experience for newer fans of the series to see where the roots of the line came from. I have a lot of other ideas for compilations, but I won't babble on :PSilent Hill, so I can finally play those dang games!

AMEN!:) I'd also like to see a KONAMI collection of some sort. We have Capcom, Namco, Taito, Midway, and SNK to name a few on the PS2. I would love a Konami collection on the PS3.

Sega doesnt need to take a backseat because almost all of their compiltions, other then the Gems collection and the recently released Dreamcast collection , are all mostly Mega Drive complilations. where is the Master System compilation? where the Saturn compilation? where is the arcade compilation (Virtua Cop and Viruta Cop 2 arcade , on the PS3/360/Wii, think about it)[QUOTE="Emerald_Warrior"][QUOTE="Koi-Neon-X"]

But only if Sega could make a good collection out of them. The Dreamcast collection was pretty disappointing. I think it may be a little too soon for Dreamcast collections, the technology just isn't there to fit enough games onto it to make a proper collection if the Dreamcast Collection is any indication. And are Saturn games really that much smaller in size, on average? A lot of games using 3D engines on Saturn I'd imagine would be hard to squeeze onto one disc. However a Master System collection would be great to see and they could probably put a ton of games on it.
If they made these collection, what would you want to see on them? I'd imagine all of them would have to be Sega published games if these happened. My choices:

id rather have an arcade collection you can very easily and cheaply buy a Saturn and some games, its alot more expensive to buy one arcade machine, let alone a number of themgenesis ultima collectoion 2B-boy
I don't see the point, really the first collection had almost every game Sega made for the genesis. so that means that the classics that didn't make it into the collection are not owned by sega with the exception of the following games: revenge of Shinobi, shadow dancer, outrun, sonic 3 and 2 +knuckles

Icewind dale Collection
neverwinter nights

anyway what I would like to see:
