Gerontophile in a Retirement Home Hard is what I play games on. For the Ninja Gaiden gamers out there, that means Normal mode.
Whenever I want a challenge, I play the Wii.
:P
Default difficulty usually. But I suck at FPSs so i usually play them on Easy.
I only play hard on my second playthroughs.
i have a question for you guys, as most people play on default. do you find that it would detract from your experience at all if hard was unlocked from the getgo? not having it has really detracted from some games for me, so i am wondering if there would be any harm if it were never locked. i wish there was a way to get word to devs that some of us really like playing on hard, and would like to never have it locked. :(OneWingedAngeINo I can't really see any reason why having all the difficulties unlocked right from the get-go would bother me so I'd be cool with.
Normal. If I really really like the game I will much later replay it on the hardest setting. I never play easy mode.
By the way: don'y you guys hate it when games lack the normal difficulty option? Like Resident Evil (choose between easy or hard)
i usually start on normal mode on most games...the only game i recall starting on a higher difficultly was metal gear solid 4
