What do you expect from 2009?

What's the most exciting game you are waiting for to come out? What 2009 could keep inside?

For me, just to start, it's definitely Final Fantasy XIII Fabula Nova Crystallis, and Tekken 6!

God of War III, that is going to beincredible.

Maybe Nintendo will pull out some good first-party franchise games (hopefully).

All I'm waiting for is Resident Evil 5. I really really want that game lol. It seems like forever until this game see's the light of day.

Also, If God Of War 3 can come out next year too, than great.

I'm looking for another great year for video games but financially I don't know if I can afford so many great games in '09. This year is already killing me. So far this year has been AMAZING.

Resident Evil 5 and Bioshock 2 is at the top of my most wanted list for 2009. I'm also looking forward to Infamous, The Sims 3 and Yakuza 3.

GTA4 for the PC, Saints Row 2 for the PC, possibly Fallout 3 if I like what I see. Fable 2 is automatic, NBA 2k9 for PC and Starcraft 2.

God damn it, my bank is going to be empty after this year XD.

I agree with you and at the same time I disagree. There have been some amazing games during these past three years, I can admit that much. But doesn't it seem that some games were overhyped?

All in all, these three years have been great, but I still consider 1998 to be one of the best years to date for games.

More great games :D. But I'm not sure it will live up to '08 (Of course most people said '08 wouldn't top '07 but I think now most peiople think the '08 is better).

There's ton of potential, but that's it, the only big games really solidly know are coming are RE5, KZ2 and H3:Recon. Games like GoW3, Bioshock 2, and GT5 are just speculation.

I'll have to admit that there have been a couple great games for past three years...

...but it really depends what kind of games you like. If it's FPS:s and action games that requires much killing an' stuff, you'll find a HUGE selection of games - if you don't like them...it's a worse thing.
