What do you feel about consoles which you do not have?

i do not own a dreamcast, xbox, xbox 360, gamecube and some other consoles, i recently used to have a ds (till i broke it by accident and anger), i am looking for a psp and i will probably have a ps3 too, but i do really care about those consoles or games respectively, (except i wish i can play shenmue 2 as it looks awesome), cause one is rich (especially in my country) (and also plenty of time)one cannot have all systems.

all i have right now is a ps2 which i bought last october and thank god i have it.

When i start to care about the games on other systems i start to think about the games on my system that i already have or i can buy (and there are so many...)

When I start to look at a PS3 I think of the price, wonder why it hasn't seen a significant price drop in ages, & then tell myself I don't need the games I'd like.

most of the consoles i don't have i don't like or have already played through plus i only buy 1 console per gen and fill it up with games

I ignore what they have and focus on the collection of the platform I own.

I'd quite like a Wii at some point, and maybe a DS.

I don't ever see myself ever getting a 360. It has a couple of good exclusives, but the vast majority of games I would want to play are ones I can already play on the PC with higher resolution, better graphics, and usually better controls.

At this point, I'm more interested in getting some older consoles that I never owned. My claim to shame is that I've never actually owned a Nintendo console, so I've been looking into getting a NES, SNES or Gamecube at some point.

I would like a Ps3, PS2 (Re-buy) Super NES, Dreamcast, and another GBA SP (For GB and GBC games).

But for now, I've got a lot to play on 360, PSP, DS, Wii, and PS1.

I don't have a wii. Mario and Zelda are my two favorites. Why don't I own a wii?

The only console not on the stable is the 360. The only reason why was the RROD. I do have a lot of curiosity about it since most of my nephews here have the PS3 while those out west have the 360.

I've decided to skip the 360 being this late in its life cycle. But, I'd definitely consider the new MS next-gen console, whatever that may be.

I can't even catch up on my PC games. Pretty much the last damn thing I need right now is another console.

Doesn't mean I won't get another one eventually. :P

I'm hopefully going to get a ps3 for when i go to college, and i really don't want a 360 too much.

I have a 360 and a Wii. There's nothing on the PS3 that interests me.

The Atari Jaguar and Sega 32x sucked.

I have all the current consoles (except the PSP or a Gaming PC),

game a lot on the 360,

my PS3 is a Bluray player

and my Wii is a paperweight!!

...Oh ... got a DS around here too ... I think it's wedging a door open somewhere ...

I'm looking at the PS3 with slight interest as it does have several exclusives I'd like to play (Heavy Rain, Infamous, Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet, Flower), but I'm not really pining for any of them. The fact of the matter is that I don't need another system as I can barely keep up with all the PC and 360 games (being a huge strategy and RPG fan doesn't help). A PC + one console fulfills all my gaming needs and then some.

Maybe Agent will push me over the edge - if that's still an exclusive.

If I don't have a specific console, I may check the selection of games that it has then think about buying it.

Let's stick with current generation. I don't own a Genesis, but who gives a crap how I feel about an ancient console.

So the Wii: I actually did own a Wii for a few months. Played Super Mario Galaxy, Endless Ocean, most of Super Paper Mario, a bit of Animal Crossing, and that's about it. I hated the motion controls, and eventually my Wii scratched the hell out of Animal Crossing, so rather than worry about getting it fixed or replaced, I just took it as a sign that it was a stupid console that I'd never really use much, and traded it in.

There are a few Wii games that still interest me (notably SMG2 and Endless Ocean 2), but it's not enough for me to get a Wii again.

Plus, I've always had a thing about Nintendo consoles, buying and getting rid of, buying again and getting rid of again.

Basically, I know I can't get every system for every generation. Thus, I pick what I find most interesting and get that, and do my best to get the content on offer. Occasionally, I look to the other side and would like to try it, but it makes for depressing contemplations. I'm indifferent to the other systems, to put it simply.

Whenever I look at the PS3 version of Smackdown vs Raw series I get jealous since I am a PSP gamer. But its a videogame shouldnt get all worked up where the PS3 gets the realistic "sweating" ability and whatever else

I play on my PC and I think the ps3 would complement it well. JRPGs seem to be what I miss these days.

I think really there are enough games on most consoles to keep oneself happy. I mean there are always exclusives on another console that you see and think you would like, but then you look at all the multi-plats and exclusives on the console you presently own and usually you end up going: oh my!...well thats quite a lot to keep me occupied.

i have the 360 and use to have Ps3 but am considering heavily switching to PC cause console gaming is too restricted , No Mods You have to pay out the butt for content . So PC is a option for me and the graphics on PC are way better sharper and more crisp.
